051207B1.JPGI have had to thread the bead separately before, on very tiny onyx beads.  I quilted in the past, and have several "in between" needles around.  Most of the time, that's what I use.  My tiniest bunny is 1/2".  My micro beads have just arrived, and they are holeless!  I guess I'll be using glue.  I picked up some glue a while ago because it had a needle fine applicator.  I use it to attach porcelain hooves on my micro horses.  I'm about to see how well this glue works on eyes...

Marion,
Wow!  Thanks so much!  I visited your website.  Your bears are beautiful.  How do get the noses so clean?

Monstercombined3.JPGHello all, I'm new here!

He's not much of a teddy bear, but I love him anyway.  He was part of a 60's contest for cdhm.  The story book, "Where the Wild Things Are", gave me hope as a child.  Being a "wild thing" myself, this story made me think that, in the end, I might still have hot supper waiting for me too.  I intended to sell little Maurice, named after the author.  But, he's been on my studio shelf for two weeks now.  I can't part with him.  His silly expression makes me happy.  I can't explain why.  His eyes, horns, claws, and teeth are painted with black light paint, a 60s fad.  Take a peek!

Hugs, Sharon
