Well, I kinda took alittle of everyones advice and then improvised with what I had on hand, but most importantly it worked and I'm happy with the result! I rolled some fiberfill around the limb and then I sewed a little sleeve that I made out of a piece of knee hi stockings. I made the sleeve so it would be snug around the fiberfill, then, I put some stitches around the top and bottom just in case to help hold it in place. It seemed to work pretty good. Thanks for all your help.

Marie, I am so sorry for your loss. I will keep you and your family in my prayers.

Thanks Sandra! That sounds like a good idea, it will give me padding all the way around the wire. I'm going to try it right now.
Kathleen

I have kinda a stupid question but, here it goes...... I'm trying the flexilimb armature in my bear and I have stuffed and restuffed the arm but I can still feel the wire on the inside of the arm. I looked under old posts and can't find anything on stuffing around the wire. I stuffed the pawpad first and have been using hemastats to fill around the rest. Am I trying to achieve the unachievable? Will you always be able to feel the wire from the outside? Anyone have any tips? Thanks
Kathleen
Thank you  you guys are only encouraging me to start another "stash" I think I need to have a nice supply of wool on hand . Hmmmm......... it's alot cheaper than mohair and I already have a nice storage tub for it................

GOod luck Jodi . I've thought of doing local art/doll shows, just didn't know how it would work out.

Hmmm, I would like to know how heavy bears are supposed to be, scissor sculpting and wire armatures too!! All three sound like great ideas!!!
Kathleen

He is absolutely wonderful. Love the mohair and NICE nose. My wax noses never looked that good. I gave up on them. He is gorgeous from head to toe!
Kathleen
Very cute and very wise to know that there is nothing a good cup of coffee can't fix!

Thanks guys! I'm still in awe of NFing. It truly is like magic. When you tell people about it, they can't believe that a ball of fluff and a needle can turn into a critter.
Kathleen
here are some pics of my first attempt at NFing. The dog is from a edinborugh Import pattern (Buster) and the bear from my new stash of roving ( I think thats what you call it?)
Kathleen
I think its WONDERFUL you care for all those kittys. I'd take in every stray if I could that why I can't even watch those shows on animals that need homes/stray. Keep up the good work.
