Gus is needle felted from merino wool with baby camel down cheeks and toes. His cupcake box is hand sculpted from paper clay painted and sealed with a hand made glass cherry on top and glass bead sprinkles, with a vintage Jell-O mold bottom.

Please meet Josephine. She is needle felted from a New Zealand- Domestic wool blend. Five way thread jointed and you can pose her ears any way you like. Josephine is 8 3/4 inches head to toe not including her ears. Here is her link if you would like to check her out-

Gertrude is needle felted from a blend of Mohair and Lincoln wool. She is 9 1/2 inches head to toe, weighted with steel shot, has a swarovski crystal belly button and hand painted glass eyes. She is on her way to the United Kingdom to meet her new mom

Hi Kerrilyn I used card stock paper for his little hat. It also has an elastic strap like a real party hat so it can be removed. For the steel shot I put it in a pouch and carefully felt around it. Its time consuming you have to be real careful you don't break your needle but I like my pieces to have a little weight to them. My pieces are also very firmly felted so you can not feel the steel shot.
