I am finding this topic very interesting especially what you have said Lisa. Hubby was very interested to hear what you had to say about cramps as he has the same problem - definitely going to give the Magnesium a try. I also want to try the Emu oil capsules and rub. Have you bought from this place Lisa? It is over in S Australia www.emu-shop.com and their prices are a little less than Emuheaven.

I've just joined too. Now I just need to work my way around it and see what I can do     

I got caught too! Bought a bear from a bear maker in Germany and when I eventually got it I thought this box feels light and a bit beaten up - knew Customs had been at it because of sticker. Opened the box and it was empty! Just the wrapping paper and a note from Customs to say that they had ceased the item. If I didn't want the bear destroyed I had to pay something like $48 for radiation treatment which of course I paid up and I eventually got the bear back about 6 weeks later - all this because the bear had sand in him. Like Lisa says it all comes down to who is on duty at the time and she is right because I've had bears come through without any hold ups and they had sand in them. A lot of German bear makers tend to use sand as part of the bears stuffing.

Even cuter in real life and their fur feels a bit like Alpaca and you wouldn't believe how hard their bum is    due to all that sitting!

That was fun and it seems I am a Mazda RX8 - looks quite a nice little nippy sports car 

I really thought I was going to have fun and games getting my refund back but no that didn't happen    I did get an email informing me that I would get a refund cheque and it would take about 4 to 6 weeks! Still can't understand why they needed that long    Anyway, cheque arrived and then I sent it all the way back to the UK again to put it into a UK bank account that we still have over there - well it was cheaper than cashing it here    So yeah Paula I think I would have been just as cranky as you if I was waiting for this refund and living in the same country! As it was I got a little cranky as I had to keep nagging them for my refund

All my bears are hand sewn as sewing machines and I do not go together! Like Kim the air becomes blue very quickly so not nice for the bears or anyone within close range    I find hand sewing very relaxing and you can take the bear any where in the house and outside where as the sewing machine you are stuck in one room unless of course it is portable and you can take it from room to room.

I usually only do a relist once but I have done it twice but not very often - think I've only done that 2 or 3 times    Like Tami if the bear does not sell then it will go onto my website.

I frown and pout which makes me look as if I am in a real bad mood and it seems this is the 'look' whenever I am concentrating on what I am doing. I use to wear this 'look' when I was showing dogs and friends were always asking me what is wrong at a distance  That is how bad I looked! They all got use to it in the end and if others asked they would just tell them 'oh that's just Lyn's concentrating look' 

  All three are Irish Wolfhounds - also fondly known as the 'gentle giants' and are also the biggest breed in the world. The one in the middle could possibly be a Deer Hound but I'm not sure

I make teddy bears because......it gives me a lot of pleasure to create and I find it very satisfying and it keeps me out of trouble!  I've tried my hand at many other crafts but bears are it!

I'm so glad that I now know the TBF is on the way  :clap:  That's the other magazine (Australian Bear Creations) I'm getting antsy about, just like Karen is  This magazine seems to take forever to come out!

Can someone tell me how long the latest TBF has been out please as I have not received mine yet
