That's so fantastic - the book and what you are doing for the bears. I am browsing your sites to choose a bear to help. Could you PM me or just let me know how I would go about donating one of my bears to be sold or auctioned for this cause? It's something I'd love to support. I'm currently making a realistic grizzly bear and he'd be a fantastic bear for someone to buy as a reminder of what they have helped and also a fantastic way to help the bears.

I have three A3 folders full of patterns ~ probably about 80 patterns although not all have been made yet and some are still in need of modification. As GJOYful Bears is run by both myself and my mum, we must have a huge number of patterns between us and honestly I have no idea exactly how many.
I generally get a picture in my mind of how I want a finished bear to look and usually design a brand new pattern for every bear. There isn't too many bears that have been made from the same pattern in our studio. Interesting post though and it's good to see what everyone does.

Oh no! I can tell being on this forum is going to be BAD for me lol. I have a soft spot for the minis, and I'm trying to cut out buying bears and get on with making them! But on this forum there is sooooooooo many gorgeous bears waiting for homes!!! Oh no.

I saw this bubby owl on eBay and it's just SOOOOOO cute!!!! I made a mink owl once I wished it had looked like that! You're a very talented artist.

That is the reason I am scared to sell my patterns for people to use. So many people want to try my patterns but I'm honestly a bit terrified of the people who will use them for the wrong reasons.
