Oh I just LOVE everyone's creations!!!  They are all so adorable!!! 

Pat's bear is almost finished, hopefully will be shipping her out tomorrow, Thursday at the very latest.  I hope she likes her.  I can't wait to get Pat's bear too...heehee.  It's so much fun!!!

Ohhhhh...I am totally in love with this little guy!!  Once again I haven't been online in a while (been working on my summer swap bear...finally almost finished), but the first post I saw was this one and oh my goodness!!!

The first thing I thought of was Radar O'Reillys bear from the television show M*A*S*H, and how much love and devotion Radar had for his companion.  I don't know if you have ever seen the show (I'll post a photo below if I can find one), but Radar was a Corporal in a medical unit in the Korean War in the early 1950's.  He was sort of a child in a mans body, sweet, naive and friendly to everyone.  And one of the things he was known for was the special relationship he had with his teddy bear.  He acquired his nickname 'Radar' for his uncanny ability to sense and hear the helicopters and other things before they arrived.

Your little bear has seen so much in his life I'm sure...joys and sorrows and everything in between, and he soooo reminds me of Radar's bear.  How absolutely WONDERFUL that you found him.  Whatever price you paid for his was well worth it...he is simply priceless!

If he were mine, (aside from naming him Radar..haha), I would do as little as possible to him and leave him as he is with all the wonderful character that he has...a lifetime of character!!

Oh WOW!!  Thanks soooooo much everyone for the wonderful comments!!  I'm so sorry I haven't been on sooner to thank everyone, we were out our computer for almost a week and I've had to play catch up since.  Where's the icon for pulling out my hair????

Hi Everyone!  Meet Leo...the very first bear I designed myself, and the second bear I ever made (the first bear I used a pattern to make).  His name is Leo simply because he turned out sort of 1/2 bear and 1/2 lion. 

I needle felted his paws, face, and nose because I love the detail that can come out (very time consuming though!).  Boy, his fur was TRICKY!! It's sooooo long, but I actually rather like the look.  It took me quite a while to actually design the pattern pieces.  I had to scrap it a few times because once his legs were way too skinny, and then the gusset wasn't wide enough.  Anyway, I'm very pleased with how he turned out & I hope you like him!

Ohhhhhhhhh, she's SOOO completely AWESOME Melisa!!  Wow...I'm not sure why but this one reminds me of Kylie.  This is probably one of my favorites!!  I just LOVE LOVE LOVE her!!!!!

I'm still in the beginning stages of mine, and while trying to finish another as well (both of my own design which will be a first).  Will definitely be working on them this weekend. 

I hope Pat likes hers...I think she'll turn out pretty cute actually.
