Myself, my son and my daughter as well as Jasmine, the new baby are in the photos on the webpage.

The one here should be of me and my daughter and Jasmine, if I insert it correctly. Apologies if I do not do it right. lol

What a dreadful thing to happen, particularly at such a busy time of year.  I guess looking at the bright side is the best way to cope and you seem to be doing that, but, still, it is an awful thing to have happened.

Sending bear hugs and good wishes,
Cathie

Thanks everyone for the kind words and good wishes.  And thanks to those who commented on my Avatar. The bears name is Edwin and he is one of my earlier pieces. I think I did him in 2002 or 2003. He went to live in New York..........................

I am going to the hospital today, armed with my trusty digital camera.  Plenty of photos will be taken. My youngest son (who will be 13 on Dec 22) is coming with me. He is really excited to be an uncle.  He keeps calling me "granny" and I keep calling him "Uncle Patrick".   bear_original

Again, thanks to all those who wrote.

That is fantastic. I am so pleased for you.

I just became a first time granny.  And I mean just. Like, a couple of hours ago.................   :0)

It is so exciting when new babies arrive.  I like the name Zack. It will be exciting when he is here.

Hi Pauline and thanks.

I am soooooooooooo excited. I will be visiting her tomorrow and I will be armed with my camera.  Oooh, this is just so exciting. A little girl. I have been dying to buy pink. Now I can. And I will have to make her a special bear.

I am so sorry you missed out on my bear.  I was hoping you would win him.

I will have more up in the new year.  I have started a new one, centre head seam, in lovely creamy wavy mohair.  It is such a joy to be bearmaking again.

I hope all is well with you.

Bear hugs,
Cathie

I have not been a member of this forum for long, but, I just had to write because I am so excited.

I am a first time Grandma.

My daughter gave birth to a baby girl, a couple of hours ago.

I am soooooooooooooooooooooooooo  excited.

Now I can finish cross stitching the birth sampler I have been working on for the last few weeks.

I will be going in tomorrow morning to visit my daughter. It is early evening here and she is very tired after being in labor all day.

I am going to make sure I am armed with my camera when I visit tomorrow.

I AM SO EXCITED            :bday:

What a beautiful bear.  He is gorgeous. I so love old bears, they are wonderful and have such character.

Bear hugs,

They are so sweet. I love their noses and the expression on their little faces.

That's beautiful, Christine. It surely is something that can be kept and admired for years to come.

None of my children ever did anything like that at school. I wish they had. My youngest son (he will be 13 in a couple of weeks) is in his last year at primary school (grade 6) and to my  knowledge they have made nothing Christmas like...............
