She is so cute. I love the color, and the bow in the hair is just adorable. I can't wait to see more of your bears!

Congratulations...how cool is that?!?! I used to subscribe to Bird Talk years ago when I had pet budgies. It's a great magazine.

Welcome to Teddy Talk Susan! Your little bears are adorable. It's so nice that you donate a portion of your bear sales to help rescue dogs. I agree with Christine...take the plunge and list your bears on auction sites and post them here on TT. It will help people to become familiar with your bears. Good luck, and have fun!

The kids' teddies turned out great! What a wonderful project for them to do. How sweet of you to teach them to make their own bears.

What a great way to introduce bear making to others. Good luck with your class!

She is a sweetie Sue. She looks cozy in that pretty cardigan. I'm glad she has a good home with her new mom!

These pics are wonderful. Snapping turtles are so interesting. We once saw one trying to climb our chain link fence to get into our back yard...of course, it didn't get very far. Turtles aren't exactly built for climbing. I'm glad there are people out there who appreciate them; some people don't. Thanks for sharing your experience Kelly, and good luck with the nest!

I have seen maned wolves at the zoo and they are very beautiful. I would love to see one in soft sculpture form! Not too sure what gusset joints are, but they sound interesting. Good luck with Cheeva, keep us updated on your progress!

Congrats on your new betta! When I got my little guy from wal-mart last year he was brownish and had very short fins. I just knew it had to be a girl. But then he grew...and grew, until he was a pretty royal blue with long flowing fins! It turns out he was just a young fish when I got him. Yours could be younger, or it could be a short finned male. The main advice I can give you is they seem to be prone to constipation! It helps to keep a little bit of roughage in their diet. I peel the skin off a washed pea and give mine tiny bits of it if he seems bloated. I owned my first betta for four years and he never had this problem, but the one I have now seems to get it pretty often. Good luck with your new buddy...they are such cute fish!

I am glad to hear that Ted is getting back into bears but sorry to hear that his health keeps him home much of the time. I loved reading his books. My favorite bear that I own is a Ted Menten Hug bear produced by Applause. I am glad I saw this post, because I've often wondered if Ted was still active in the bear world.
