Aww Heather, that is so wonderful. You will one day really cherish the time you are able to spend with her now and she will cherish it as well.
My suggestion would be to make one at the same time with her. Only work on it when the two of you are working on them together. That way she can follow your lead and the 2 of you will be completing them at the same time. I tried to teach my daughter while she was visiting for a few days and she did great while I was here, but even though I wrote very good instructions for her includin g pictures, after she got it home, she hasn't finished it.  lol I wish we had spent a little more time together so she would have seen how it goes together from start to finish

Shelli, Ruth has been posting in the bearsnbuds yahoo page that the professionals are members on. You should be getting them in your email. Unless you have your emails turned off. She has been showing us each page as it gets done to check for errors. I know I have seen at least one of yours. One called Pip I remember. Can't remember the others off the top of my head.

The same thing happened to me a couple of weeks ago. TWICE on the same auction. The first time I copied a listing that was on bid4bears prior and I forgot to take my website name off. Then after relisting it, iut was fine for a few days, then it was pulled again. I knew I did not put the website name in my listing. But what I forgot was, while updating my website, I created a new bannerthat did have my website name on it. When I uploaded it to my website, it had the same name as the banner I had on my ebay listing. So when it was refreshed, the new banner showed up on my auction and they pulled it again. SHEESH!

Kim, The entires are ALMOST ready. I imagine they may be ready by this evening, but it could be a day or two. Ruth is doing the most wonderful job with the presentation and I can tell you, you will be SPEECHLESS! they are awesome!

Congratulations Christine! Gorgeous bears, I can see why you won!

Susan,
That is really too bad that this happened, but I will tell you my opinion looking at it from the other side. I have used Sunnie Bears for almost 5 years now. Before I could use it, I had to file paperwork and get a ficticious name license. The name is then searched to make sure it is not being used. Now recently I have found out a company in Florida is opening a store and calling it Sunny Bears. Now it isn't spelled the same, BUT since they have been advertising prior to opening the store, I have had several of my customers contact me and ask if I had moved. Since the name sounds the same, they are confused. I anticipate that I will probably have a few customers that contact the other business thinking it is me.  There isn't anything I can do about it unless I get the name registered or trademarked.  (which isn't cheap) I haven't contacted them because I guess I don't want to make waves with someone in the same business. But I really feel like I wish they would change thier name since I can prove I have been using it longer. It's not a good feeling. I am sorry that it is happening to you, but I think in all fairness, you really should consider changing your name since the other company uses it commercially and is established. It should be different enough that there isn't any confusion. I think since she is contacting you, she is serious about wanting you to change and she does have the law on her side. In my opinion, and if it were me, I would change it out of courtesy.

Aleta, I do that too (drive a long ways for whatever) I live in the middle of the desert and it is about 100 miles from the nearest bigger town) We have everything here.. but no mall and not the best of shopping. We have a walmart, kmart, mervyns, home depot and some other smaller shops. So we head out of town every few weeks. We actually drive 100 miles to get the dogs groomed! This weeknd I am cleaning.. yuk!

My 2 yr old male yorkie has a bear he HAS to have to sleep. He has had this bear since he was a baby (he never touches my bears, but no one better touch his) He will not go to bed at night without it. He doesn't sleep ON it or use it for a pillow..... he holds the tummy in his mouth and goes to sleep like that. Here is a picture

I always thought you had a LOOK. I recognize your bears! But I don't see flowers in these? or a sheer ribbon... am I confused? the first and the last pictures look like what I think is your look.

You are too cute Kimberley! Needlefelting for Dummies!! I think I need it to.. ok.. the crash course..
1. put the sponge on the table
2. roll a piece of the roving in your hands to shape a ball.
4. put the ball on the sponge with your fingers just holding the edge
5. take that big ole needle and stick it in the ball and pull it out (kind of like they do liposuction)
There you go!
