The Great Bear

Hello to you all,

I thought of a new subject and wanted to share it with you on here. I think it is an interesting one  bear_thumb

Three times I have organised a challenge in 2006, 2007 and 2008 and in 2007, I have been amongst the jury for the Ted Worldwide in Germany.

Another time too, in another country, I have been called in the hurry 3 weeks before the expiry date of a conquest by a challenge's organizer in order to suggest artists work's to take part to a challenge (which I really can't give the name) because there were not participants enough... and it wasn't a suburb's challenge if you see what I mean.. bear_whistle

So, after thoses experiences, I really am wondering what are worth challenges ?

I am wondering what kind of rules should be thought at in order to suggest something very clear and clean too....

How artists would like be reassured taking part to a challenge in order to get as many chances as everyone ?

Also what kind of way would it be possible to find in order to allow all the artists to take part to a challenge freely, without any cost, without any business hidden somewhere ?

This message does not mean all the challenge are the same but there is a but. So it would be a good idea to know your view point and what solution could we find ?

Best Wishes

Eric

Hello to you all,

I don't create bears but I give old bears new life, at least I try  bear_grin . I have got a "mobil" work shop, I can't stand at the same place,  so, sometimes it's funny because I am the only one having a passion for teddy bear at home, around wife and two daughters. It happened I had restuffed a bear with wood woolh in the living room, wife's face was a little bit like this >>> bear_angry  , after mohair cleaning I usually dry it with the hairdryer in the kitchen (so when it happens the television volume get louder  bear_grin ) I also can be very kind, sewing in silence on the sofa  bear_grin

I really can restore a bear anywhere it is, I don't mind at all if I have anything I need to do it I am not fussy. Well I have to say I sometimes ("very sometimes") put the mess  bear_grin  I am sure you've got an idea of what I mean  bear_tongue

The best moment is when I have finished. I ask wife and daughter to come and have a look, so they say " Wahouuuuuuuuuuuu he is very nice, it makes wonderful change than how it was before you put your hands on him, well done" then they say "How long are you going to let him on the radiator of the bathroom ?  bear_grin  bear_grin  bear_grin

I know you're smiling reading this

Hello Kim  bear_original

This work is delighful, surely one of the best design that can be done in this category of creation.

The association mohair/needle felting is perfect and  succefull

I totaly agree with Becky (dangerbears) about the harmony in the choice of the colors. It put the bear's expression at the highest level.

If there was a better word than perfect it would be  the one I would qualify your work.
