Teddy Talk: Creating, Collecting, Connecting

Made for the fall season... please meet CHai-T with his creamy, pumpkin pin cushion!   

This small bear (5" tall) is fully jointed and fulled / felted from 100% wool and slightly weighted. His chai-colored fur was hand-dyed and shaded for a more unique look. He even has a hand-embroidered face. He is keeping the chill away with his cable knit, cinnamon stick-hued scarf, which was handmade from acrylic by Rhonda Potteet. His scarf is pinned on so it doesn't blow away in the Autumn breeze!  He comes with his own slightly-weighted, cream-colored pumpkin pin cushion that is 3" in diameter and has the rustic letters of "fall" stitched to it. CHai-T is pinned/posed atop his pumpkin. This bear has been made to look passed down -- A perfect addition to any primitive collection!

He is smaller than a spool of thread.. the size of a peanut... please meet Lil' Knot!   

This bear is small(1 1/2" tall) with details that a larger bear would have like... curved paws, a detailed body, elbows.. even stuffed limbs. He was aged for added detail and he is fully thread jointed!  He was made of many tiny stitches of thread.  His face is embroidered.  This bear has been made to look passed down -- A perfect addition to any primitive or dollhouse collection!

It's another Fulled/Felted bear... Lil' RoSe!

This bear is crochet, using spun wool, and then put through a process known as felting/boiling. This is when crochet and or knitted items are shrunk for a thicker, softer appearance.  Lil' RoSe was hand-dyed in a lovely shade of pink and then aged for added detail. This bear is only 5” tall, a perfect teacup size!  She is fully thread jointed, and has an embroidered face and claws.  She wears a hand crochet collar. This bear has been made to look passed down -- A perfect addition to any primitive collection!

Hello! Tiny-Teal was designed to resemble a vintage-style stuffed toy, in miniature size and fully jointed! In vintage colors of teal and cream, this panda is only 2-3/8” tall!  His tiny body is made of many crochet stitches of cotton thread and then he was carefully stuffed--even his tiny limbs! His sweet face is embroidered. He wears a red silk ribbon, and was slightly aged for vintage appeal.

This is the newest addition to our Thread Teds by Thread Bears® line!

Antique Ted was made to resemble an antique-style bear with aged details, wider shoulders, and with tapered torso.  He has details like a larger bear, but he's in miniature size, only 2-5/8” tall and fully thread jointed.  His body is crochet from cotton thread and then carefully stuffed. His face and 'mending stitch' details are embroidery. He wears his old silk ribbon.  This little guy is a perfect addition to any antique or primitive collection!

This is Franklin, a vintage-style bear of patriotic colors!

Standing at 5 3/4" tall, he is crocheted from mixed threads, then brushed for an over-all softer finish. He is gently aged and wearing a ruffled, red circus collar. He is fully thread jointed with an embroidered face and paw pads.  The perfect addition to primitive or Americana décor!

Hello! This offering is for another Fulled/Felted, Lil` HaRe.  He is crochet, using spun wool, and then put through a process known as felting/boiling. This spotted rabbit is 5 ¼” tall (head to big bunny feet).  He is fully thread jointed, and has an embroidered face and claws.  He wears a ruffled collar, in red striped fabric. Primitive stitching in his spots for added detail.
