    Well, you COULD model it on George...but let me guess....you'd have to make a 35" bear to model it on??!!!
Did You say she is in another relationship?! What a " Male Slut"!!!!!
Here, here Jenn!!!
Ha ha ha--ever tried to needle sculpt a dickhead? Just in case the poor girl wants me to make some kind of gift back for him:-))
You look so innocent in your avatar, but I see you're a girl after my own heart!!!
oooooooh can that be a new TT challenge - needle sculpt a dick-head???????
  Oh PenPen, you're definately the girl for the job...go on, I'm BEGGING you to make one!
Claire, I'm glad you're feeling a bit better now darlin! We really should arrange to meet up one day and get totally plastered together - that's one of the things I thought when I met you at Hugglets - geez, she'd be a FAB boozing buddy!
which gives your endorphins (or dolphins - whatever) a boost.
Have mad passionate sex with a man half your age - no i have'nt forgotton that this is also no.2 - just do it again to make sure you were'nt dreaming the first time around.
Oh PenPen, you make me giggle so much! Hey - you can join Claire and I too....now that WOULD be a great night!!!
Umm, I probably shouldn't listen to your advice of having mad passionate sex with someone half your age...I'm 24!!!! But if you ever meet Johnny Depp (who I don't usually like!) playing his Jack Sparrow role, PLEASE send him to my house....ooh don't - it's getting me excited just THINKING about it!!!
....Oops, my halo slipped....
Jane she is absolutely beautiful - her dress is gorgeous too...I'm sure your collector will be thrilled! I'd be happy if you'd made a bear for me from bin liners!!!
I'd LOVE to try an open mouth bear but I'm SO worried that it will end up looking like Chucky from Child's Play!!!!
Has anyone ever tried and failed?
whatever makes you feel better.
Do you have some sort of problem with my reply?
Well since this is a public message board you can bet they will find out. Shame on you. That person may have put their heart and soul into that bear.
I haven't mentioned any names so no, they wouldn't find out!!
Oh my gosh - I can see Gavreel on the first picture...I just love him!!! I also love the floppy on his left! Now I'm REALLY sad that I won't be there!
No Claire, they've been VERY lucky too!!!!!
Thankfully the artist in question hasn't posted here on TT or on CC for months!!!! I'd be mortified if they knew!!!!
Melissa, I need to subscribe too but unfortunately they only do 1 or 2 yearly subscriptions which are paid for in 1 go - that works out quite alot of money!!! I DO subscribe to Teddy Bear Scene though because I can pay monthly by direct debit (and I previously bought the magazine every month anyway) - it actually works a liitle cheaper than buying it in the shops and it's also delivered to my door!! I just wish TBCI would do a direct debit scheme....
Oh, the poor lady - no wonder she has to sell them....it must be heartbreaking though!
Toby, I had the same experience!!!! It was the very first bear I'd received in a swap and the very first artist bear I'd ever owned...I opened the box when it arrived and just said 'oh' - I then showed my 4 year old and asked if he liked it and he replied with 'I don't like it mummy - it's very ugly'. My neighbour says it looks like a sheep with a serious deformity!!!!
I haven't even looked through my Oct copy properly yet and I've just bought the Nov issue today so I guess I'll be a busy girl!
Hey, now
going to be in the mag next month...they're doing a feature on the finalists of the BBAA and I'll also be doing a little ad for my website........isn't advertising expensive in these International magazines? I nearly fell off my chair when I was told the cost!!!! I had to go for the CHEAPEST option available!!!
Even if I had bought him and he was too big there would be a place that I would fit him in thats for sure.
Me too Laurie! I'd make Stu sleep on the sofa so he could sit next to me in bed!!!!
Congratulations Aleta - you most certainly deserve it with your wonderful talent!
Irene, they're all lovely! I'm so sad that I won't get to see them now! Will you be at Hugglets in February?
Funnily enough I thought the same thing about the bear by Aleta that I just bought from a private collector - why on earth would they be willing to part with it??!!! Once I had received the bear I got an email from the lady saying 'if ever you sell the bear please let me have first refusal'.......I felt like emailing back saying 'not on your nelly - I'm NEVER letting this bear go'!!!!
I saw this on there the other day - such a shame the collector has to sell him, but even more of a shame that I can't afford him!!!
Yep, I would be safe and get a fat 1/4. I can get my 10" bears out of a fat 1/8th so you MAY be able to get your 11" bear out of the same, but there is nothing worse than having a lovely piece of mohair and then realising there isn't enough to complete the bear!!!
Thanks Claire, I still feel so very lucky!
Do any of you ever just get all of your bears from your hug and sit down and have a quick cuddle? Or is it just me....
........it gives me that warm fuzzy feeling like you get on Christmas morning!
He certainly is a cutie!!! You have a wonderful heart Bonnie!
I'd agree with Wendy about his colour change - it would be down to the good nutrition he is getting now. Have you noticed him molting alot?
Wendy, I for one has missed you terribly - I NEED a platy fix....PLEASE post pictures of your recent ones, or if you haven't made any recently - make some!!!!
Pretty please.....
Hi Sandi,
I usually just put a white stitch under the eyes of my mini's but on my last one I used felt - I have a tool used for punching holes into leather belts that cuts perfect little circles - I then glue the felt onto the back of the eye....very fiddly but certainly worth it!
Here are some pictures....for the first one I have used a white stitch (in a thick cotton thread) and in the second I have used felt.....

I didn't even notice that!!!
Sorry shantell darling - I hadn't noticed you'd added that bit in!
Hmmm, I too first thought this beauty was made by Aleta. As my second guess, is it Jane Perala?
No Sandi, you were correct!! She is made by the very talented Aleta! Aleta was being sneakily quiet!!!
I just feel so very lucky to own her!
Thank you everybody, but nobody has guessed who made the beautiful Lucy Jane!!
