Oh, I just LOVE Petal!!
Talking about the name 'Petal', have you been watching too much of EastEnders Yvonne??!!!
Wow, she is stunning!
Wendy he is GORGEOUS!!!! Wombat's are my most favourite Aussie animal......I'm actually currently trying to needlefelt one!
Chantell, here is a picture of a wombat - they are the most adorable things ever!...
Paula, I love him - I think that short pile mohair suits him SO well! And the waistcoat you've knitted him is wonderful!
This bear is utterly adorable!!! I can't believe he is crocheted! I've just had a look at your website and I'm SO impressed with your bears!
I've just registered for the nativity!!!! Scrappy is just ADORABLE!!!!
Fantastic Nancy - I'm off to have a look now!
Oh my gosh - I want the little grey one in the middle!!!!!
Hmmm, I've quite a bit of needlefelting and I've only ever broken 2 needles......I think I'm just lucky!! I've actually had to throw felting needles out where they have become blunt!
The 2 times I DID break the needles was when I was being a bit heavy handed and trying to get it done too quickly.

I know that most of you would have see my British Bear Artist Awards entry under General, but I thought I'd post a few piccies of him on here.....

I found El Tel by the side of the road with a tag round his neck reading "Free to a good home"
Nearly 30 years later i think to myself.............."What if had just left him there?"
Then i think................."He'd have starved"

By the way, would it be cheating to take 'Sunny Jim', my bear for the NSPCC along to help fill the table? I think I may need him and after all, it is to promote a good cause!
I don't think it would be cheating at all - just promoting your work...you never know, you may get a comission to make a similar one!
Can't wait to see everyone!!!
Judi, what fabulous news!!!!
I know cats have 9 lives, but how many are dogs supposed to have??!!! hee hee! I think she's definately used one of them up!
Now you MUST have a celebratory drink tonight.....or maybe I'll have one for you.....
Absolutely gorgeous!!!
My thoughts are with you at this terrible time Judi.
What great stories everyone!!!
So here's how I met Stuart....
Stuart is Australian and was travelling around Europe with his mum, brother and sister - they were having a well deserved break after losing his other brother to a brain haemorrhage (spelt correctly??) over a year before hand. They were all staying in England and I met them through a friend of my mum's who knew Stuart's step father (who was English) from years before...very confusing!!!! It was February when we first met and we'd become good friends very quickly (which seemed odd as I was 17 at the time and he was 25!!!). Both of us wanted to be more than just friends and it was finally in the September that we became more than that. The February after that Stuart had to return to Oz for 3 1/2 months, but then he flew back to stay in England with me.....he calls me his 'English Rose'
. That was back in 1999 and here we are 7 years later...we have 2 wonderful little boys together and are getting married in August 2007.
Here is a picture of my 3 men!!!

Oh my goodness - this just gets worse!!!! How the hell do these people sleep at night?!
Shelli, so glad he turned up - I bet your buyer will be over the moon!
Now you have to do the big 'farewell' thing with him all over again......or is it only ME that does that??!!.....

Laurie, if you stated PayPal only in your auction then that's all you should accept from her. Did she only say about the e cheque AFTER the auction had finished? If she did, I personally think that is rude - she knew your payment details before she bid!
Oh my gosh - I've just had a look....that HAS to be a scam surely?
Now we all know Marion on here and all know that she is FRENCH not CHINESE!!!!!
Thank you so much everyone!
I'm by no means expecting to win (there are people far more advanced than me) but I'd love for these 2 to make it into the final of my category (novice section), where 6 bears are chosen to be judged at the show........got my fingers crossed!
Sebastian was one of those bears where everything went like clockwork and by the time I had finished stitching his head, I knew I was going to really like him (mostly because I LOVE the mohair!). Does anyone else get that feeling occassionally? I must say, it's a first for me - I tend to like to pick faults with my bears!
Lucky girl Renae - she's lovely!
I've had that problem twice. This one of my bears that looks SO ugly in the photo and totally unappealing, but 'in the fur' she was actually quite sweet...
Daphne, you are not alone!!!!
P.S. Hey, if you're that worried, you could always send the bear to me!!!
