I mark the center front of the pad and the center back of the pad and pad and pin those two points in first. Then I ease the rest and pin in place all the way around before sewing
Aw Heather! You go BABY!! You look so adorable!

I put my contact information (name, email, website, etc, the number of the card (like 1 of 1) the title of the card, the bears name, date the card was made and my signature
what program do yoiu use for your email? outlook? I have seen that happen before... when I sent out an email to one of my customers, my signature has graphics in it. She got it ok, but when the reply came back to me it was blank. It has happened several times with the same person. Then I noticed that the graphics from my original message was missing. It seems like her email program is set up to recieve text only so since my email to her contained graphics and html, she never saw those parts and her replies came back blank.... so I tried sending her a text only email and she replied and it was just fine. Don't know if that helps or gives you any ideas, but I hope so.

I got the same shock early this week as well. I shipped off a custom order that should have cost $12 to ship... instead it cost over $25 to ship because it wouldn't fit in a standard flat rate box. If you make larger than about a 16 inch bear, look out! Then when shipping my ATC's for the swap, I found out that every single one that went to a foreign country was cheaper than the one I sent less than 100 miles away! go figure!
What beautiful little girls Sandi! Congrats! I LOVE the photo on the towels too!

Aw you guys! Come on.... does anyone want to visit me in the very sunnie Mojave Desert???? hmmmmm. didn't think so... actually it has been quite cool here.. over 100 degrees but not up to the 118 to 125 that we usually see this time of year. All I can say is, "Thank God for swimming pools"
Hi Stacie, fellow Californian
I don't use the steel in mine, but I do use glass beads which is very fine. I do mine exactly like you said and haven't had a problem yet. I don't see why it would make a difference if it were steel or glass.
Welcome and NICE PHOTO!

What are the dates for this challenge ( to complete the bears) and (when/how will the be sold)?
Sonya
Hi Chrissie
Sometimes it is hard to tell if they will be good enough. And by the way, when I say good enough, I mean could they win enough points to complete thier championship. It is really subjective as all of the judges have different preferences. But basically we are looking for straight flat backs, nice "blue" backs rather than silver, the ratio of length to heighth, nice silky hair. Since Yorkies don't "break" thier color until around 6 months or so, it is hard to know how they will turn out. But so far, they do look nice to me. The main thing is that they have no major "faults", good leg joints, nice coloring and size. So we will see.
No matter what they are absolutely PRECIOUS to us whether they can be shown or bred or not.

Debbie
We may decide to show/breed them. Right now it is early to tell if they are going to be nice enough to show or breed. (not to each other) lol
Of course, I think they are MORE than nice enough, but then again I am thier mom!
Sonya
Of course Jodi, my name has to go down as well! Somehow I just HAVE TO HAVE one of your critters!
Sonya
OK how on earth do you ever part with such adorable puppies, I could not be a breeder.
I love them both but that Beamer is a cutie putootie!!!!
Hahahaha Jodi, that is EXACTLY what I call them both!
Thought you all might want to see the latest update on "our TT babies". I won't keep boring you all with more pics each week, but will post some from time to time. Here they are.. Beamer is now 2 lbs 1 oz. and Rainbow is 1 lb 12.5 oz
Sonya
I have been so busy I never got a chance to post 8 week pictures earlier in the week. But hopefully these wqill be worth the wait. They are doing so well. They were microchipped and got thier first immunizations this week.(hence, why we call them the "money pits") Emjoy
They now each weigh a bit over 1 1/2 lbs and Beamers ears are standing pretty well. Rainbow should be close behind, one is partially up.
Sonya
please add me too
It looks like they are saying, "Open WIDER! Like THIS!"
Congratulations on the new baby Noah. ALL of your children are adorable!
Oh Lynnette, That is So AWFUL! I just cannot imagine. I will be praying for your sweet baby.

Here are the puppy's 7 week old pictures. Boy, have they really started to develop personalities! The little boy, Beamer, is now 1 lb 9 ounces and sister, Rainbow is now 1 lb. 5 ounces. Rainbow has a nickname, "the Yorkshire Terrorist". She is soooo bad! She is constantly on the run and Mommy is always trying to "herd" her back where she wants her. Beamer is very laid back and has discovered the other dog's food bowl. He LOVES to kiss as well. Enjoy!
I am not sure how it works in Canada as compared to in the US, but as for copyright, you really don't need to spend money on it. If you designed the pattern and you made the bear, a copyright is implied already. Her, I had to get a ficticious business name (meaning I paid $75 after searching on the internet for the name, then had to post a notice in the newspaper for 4 weeks, then the FBN acceptance was sent to me) I renew it ever 5 years, but do not have to post it in the paper anymore. I also was required to get a business license in the city I live in and apply to the State Board of Equalization for a resellers permit (which you need to charge and pay the taxes on earnings). Hope this helps. I would think it would be a waste of time to hire an attorney. Check with your local city hall government and they should be able to tell you everything you need.
