A friend of mine in LA is Monkey mad and has been asking me to make him a monkey - I didnt think I could but at last I have done it!! Yeah
I wanted him to still look like one of my creations - Im really pleased with him and who knows there may be more!!! - Im thinking a little pink girl monkey next!!
It has also inspired me, there will definitely be other animals to come

It was really lovely to meet you in person and have a chat. I am so thrilled you will be joining us in Sheffield at the Great Yorkshire Teddy Bear Event, I am very honoured to have your bears with us and hopefully we can spend a bit more time together - Hugglets is always crazy I always have great ideas about seeing everybody but it never works out!!!!

The Great Yorkshire Teddy Bear Event website is now up and running www.thegreatyorkshireteddybearevent.co.uk also anyone who needs flyers from me can see me at Hugglets I will have the flyers with me stand 139 upstairs - if you cant get to me (and I know what that feels like I dont think I even had time to go to the Loo!!! last time) send me an email and I will get John (my lovely hubby) to bring them to your stand.

Here is the first of a new range of miniature anime style bears - these are slightly different for me as I dont normally work in distressed mohair but this is brand new and I absolutely LOVE it and also it comes in about 32 colours Yippee watch this space!! my creative juices are working overtime!!

I am in the process of organising a new Teddy Bear Event , After attending Hugglets for years and the TBAE Stratford ( and attending the TBAI in New York which was amazing) I realised there was a definite NEED for a Good Teddy Bear Event in the North of England - So I am planning "The Great Yorkshire Teddy Bear Event" this will be on Sunday 21st November 2010 at the Hilton Holtel Sheffield - The venue is really lovely it is downstairs on the canal quayside and is a self contained suite with one main hall, an entrance hall with 2 smaller rooms - one with suppliers in and maybe one with a workshop in (if I get enough interest). I will also be organising fund raising events on the day in aid of Sheffield Childrens Hospital. So far the response from Artists has been amazing and the bookings are coming in think and fast - I cant quite believe it.
I am so excited and enjoying all the planning - the website should be published this weekend
