I have been designing a new doll. It took me 3 tries to get it to this point and I am pleased with this one. She is 17 inches tall with bend arms and legs. The doll is a soft pink polyester flannel and filled with PolyFil. The hair is faux fur, her dress and panties are all cotton and removeable, and the shoes are felt.
Beautiful pictures. Thanks so much for sharing.
Wonderful stories, Marilyn and Sue.  I really needed a good laugh today and I know that I would have done the same thing as you, as my eyesite isn't the best.
Beautiful bear. Love the fur, the nose the eyes.......well everything.
He is so cute, you just want to cuddle him.
He is a great looking bear Richard. You did a fab job on him.
What a sweeheart. I always love your bears.
Boy that would be great because there are days when I don't get a chance to get here and see all the lovely work that everyone does.
Thanks Daphne, I think I will try your method on my next bear. Your way is so much easier than any other method.
I second that. It is your bear and you can do anything that you want to do. I have been known to move a nose down a little too. Have fun with your bears, that is what this is all about. We are all having fun or we would not be making bears.
Congrats on the nomination and this doll is fabulous.
A special bear for a special lady. Thanks for sharing the story.
All the new laws are getting in the way of making and selling bears and other child safe toys by the private maker. I have been making child safe bears for 30 years and have always used the plastic joints. There are different types of these joints and I use only the heavy duty ones. They will not come apart once they are together but what the law is trying to have tested is the materials the joints are made of. They could be toxic. Right now in the USA, the bill to have everything tested has been held back for a year. Once the bill becomes a law, I will be out of business. It is a sad state of affairs that the governments want to regulate every thing we do any more.
Thank you Jane for all the lovely pictures. It is always so great to see all the bears.
The straw hats I buy from CR's Crafts but the fabric and felt ones I make myself. Don't quite know what you are looking for.
Beautiful looking bugs. I have never seen any thing like them.
Beautiful farie bear. I saw her on FB this morning and loved it.
Cute bunny and a great job. I have a large container full of wool just waiting for me to continue with needlefelting and I just can't seem to get to it.
Happy Anniversay to both of you. May your heart continue to be filling with love and sunshine.
Sweet bear. That expression looks to me like Petal is saying "what did you say?"
Wonderful!!!!
I don't order from this company but do from 2 other companies and I have found over the last year or two the chemical smells have really got bad. I have worked with faux furs for 30 years and it never seem to be a problem until the last couple of years. I have to air all the fur outside before I can use it. I also find that my face now breaks out when I am working on a bear. Manufacturers of these furs must have changed how they are making them. That is the only thing I can figure out.
Awesome, just awesome.
Wonderful news!!!! Prayers from everyone and their bears will continue and help him on his way to recovery.
