Hi Kim,so sorry to hear this happened to you.I got my crocheted teddy listing pulled in 2005 under the vero program.I would have never known that thread bear was a copyrighted name as this was how crocheted bears were described in the teddy mags.Well I was sooo embarassed I could have burried my head and body for that matter in a hole!Instead I appologized for my mistake and never used that description again lol.I think we should all be careful now how we word our auctions,I know I will!Keep us posted if you should get any refund but with ebays policy I'm sorry to say I doubt it very much. Jenny,I know that must have been a terrible experience, but I had to have a giggle when I heard it was a mercedes motorcycle! What nerve people have and I don't see any new policies that will protect anyone on ebay.Kim,I'm sure everything will go fine when you relist your teddy, your bears are beautiful!....Sharie

She's beautiful!I'll bet she is a lot of fun,she seems set in her ways ...giggle.
Thank you everyone!I will start working on my blog tonight and be sure to add you ***Thank you*** Sharie
Hi!I seem to be in the same situation I would love to swap links!I will add you to my blog and website tonight, thanks a bunch....Sharie
Hi everyone!I started my blog last month and never got a chance to finish it yet with links and such(as I'm always behind schedual lol) and I would love to add anyone who would like to be on my blog along with your websites(I'm good with links verses banners...still learning!)As a new blogger I would also like to know if it is okay to add a website link that may be a favorite such as art, primitives ect.without asking the web owner permission first.I wasn't too sure on this and I thought some seasoned bloggers might be able to help. .....Sharie
Hi!I think it's a great idea and I added it right away when it was offered, but I wasn't totally happy with 1 small photo in the store and no way to add a description . I decided to add the photo gallery for more info and photos for the store.(still empty but I'm working on that lol)I was using the gallery for my adopted bears,so I had to put those photos back into the old photo album that freewebs offered. It was an easy solution for me who is html challanged lol.Kristina your store looks great,I love the bears and the minis are so cute!Did you use any type of html to get the photos to look so nice?Great job and best of luck on your store....Sharie
Hi Brenda, one of the sites that transfers ebay feedback is Ioffer, but I don't think there are too many that does the feedback transfer.I see that ebay has changed the way our feedback is displayed, showing only the last 12 months and our total feedback way on the bottom.I know one thing for certain,I will not list on ebay during May or June( and maybe even beyond)because to be honest,I am scared of the new feedback system and I know it will be a hostile envirement ,which I do not want any be a part of.I will be listing tommorow, and hope to have some of my frequent customers as well as new collectors join my mailing list.As part of my new plan I decided to have a wee-kin drawing for my new subscribers,so I'm hoping it does well .I will feel more at ease if I can stay in touch them when I am away from ebay.I will try to post my new listings tommorow(if I can figure out how ..lol)Also,thank you for the nice compliments Brenda,I appreciate it!Hope you feel better soon. And thank you for all the info you posted Daphne,I wrote it all down.Seems bear artists online is filled for spring 2008,so I will be sure to keep checking for new applications. It's such a beautiful site,I just love it!Thanks again.... Sharie.
Hi Brenda and Karen, thank you for keeping everyone updated on the boycott. It's great to have the info in one place to keep up on the events.I have also been hearing that in the future Ebay wants to end all the auction style listings. They want to become more like their competitor, and have a huge marketplace with no room for the smaller seller.(I have posted a good thread on this from the seller central discussion board on my website under ebay changes).I have also decided not to list this week, but when I do next week,I am going to try to get my customers to subscribe to my website. This way I will be able to let them know where my bears will be listed, even on ebay if they can't find me when the new search starts!LOL....Good greif it's just so crazy, but I'd rather laugh than cry over it(and I wouldn't give them the satisfaction!)I am planning to venture out more by offering my bears on Etsy and my website and would love to try bid4bears.Is it easy to use,and do you have to host your photos with html?(as I am not too knowlagable in that dept.)But I would be willing to learn.Has anyone else came up with a good plan if ebay fades out of the picture for us in the future?....Sharie
Hi Michelle,I would have to say...go for it! Have fun trying new designs from your existing patterns.Maybe try a larger style head with a smaller body, and tiny arms and legs or a long torso with shorter arms and legs, and so on.Once you find a new design you like, you could add it to your current line of bears to see how they do.To me,this is what keeps bearmaking fresh and fun.(I have made over 35 patterns so far and can't seem to stop myself
)Happy bearmaking!....Sharie
