OMG what a beautiful cat!
I'd answer if I was in Canada Paula But I'm in Australia so no help at all ~ but I'd help if I could!
Thank you! I am following you back also Anything bear related and I'm in lol :D
Glad you like the blog
Me too and so glad you brought it back to top as I all kim's bears
I use sassy a lot however I have never tried needle felting a nose on a sassy bear. I was thinking of trying this on my next bear made in scrap sassy fur though so that if it does not work it won't matter. I would recommend making a few bear's heads in scrap sassy or inexpensive similar fur, practice on them, and then decide.
I'm sure someone will be along soon who has needle felted sassy and has discovered it is either fantastic or dreadful to work with the two lol. Good luck!
I think I may have fixed the comment posting problem. Only followers of the blog may post comments now, let me know if you are able to post a comment so I know if I have fixed the problem. Thanks so much for letting me know, I would not have known otherwise as I never try to comment on my own blog lol
Thank you Conni & Denise! Thanks Denise for letting me know that it is the same for you, it must be this way for everyone and must be something I have done lol, so I will work that out asap
Thanks for following the blog and I'm so glad you enjoyed it! I was worried that people may think I have too many pet photos shared but they are such an important part of my life and are my inspiration, so I thought it only necessary that they be featured on the blog from time to time
Hi Karen! Nice to "See" you again lol
I will have a look at my blog settings ~ I'm new to the world of blogs so it can be a tad confusing but I may have turned off comment posting as I received lots of comments in the first two days of having the blog but now none..... I will have a look and see what I can do, thank you for letting me know that makes a lot of sense to me now lol
Glad you like the blog, and I am guessing you mean you saw Caleb with one of my bears in my collection? Caleb's the only one on there actually pictured with a bear because he's the most well trained however I have 5 dogs and all of them pop up on the blog now and then lol (just not all with bears)
Hi everyone hope you're all well! GJOYful Bears now have a blog as well as our website. The blog will feature giveaways on other artist's blogs, updates on our studio & creations, stories from our corner of the world, photos of pets, the studio and bears etc and even movie recommendations (because as a hand-sewer we tend to go through lots of movies whilst sewing and need to share what movies we've watched and loved!)
Come along and follow or post a comment! And if you have a giveaway on your blog you'd like me to mention on mine just let me know I'd be happy to add yours on.
We are also hoping to launch our own blog giveaway very soon!

Another beautiful creation Krista, again I am in awe of your work   Well done again! I adore those paw pads they look like real dog paw pads!
Awwwwwwwwwwwwww
I dislike posting to the US because every time I go in and get a quote they say $40 or around that to post registered mail to there, and then when I go home, send the invoice, receive payment and go back and post bear all of a sudden the postage is $67 or $80 or something ridiculous. Shipping is usually huge internationally. I post worldwide I just wish it cost less, I always lose out when posting internationally and not by a small amount either lol.
Thank you! Glad you like it so much
Not sure Frances as I have not worked with leather before, however it is on my list of things to do/try. If you are looking for anybody to go halves in a big piece let me know lol, I have a use for everything and wouldn't mind going halves if you have to buy in bulk. Don't look for someone who stocks bulk specially for me though, just letting you know if you HAVE to buy in bulk I'd be interested in going in halves. If you can find it smaller than that's great too
I made a stuffed leather nose twice before but it was too thick (the leather) and looked awful. Those bears went to teddy bear heaven, better known as the "dud" pile lol.
He certainly is. My bears are treasured, they go on adventures with me and end up in every photo just about, even family pics LOL :D:D
If you visit my blog at http://gjoyfulbears.blogspot.com/ you can see some pics of some vintage bears I've collected out on an adventure with a couple of my dogs
Aww thank you, I am very glad she's/he's found such a loving home (new home can decide whether he/she is a boy or girl lol). Thanks for your comments!
