Teddy Talk: Creating, Collecting, Connecting

I just wanted to let you all know that Rob and I got married last weekend  :

We had a little ceremony at the registry office on Friday 4th October (for the legal part of the wedding) and then we had a beautiful handfasting on Saturday 5th October.

We had a fantastic weekend, it was quite warm and the sun stayed out for us.

Kiya is a moon gazing hare.

She is 9" tall, and is designed to sit.

She is made from mohair and is 5-way jointed, with nut and bolt joints and a cotter pin neck joint.

She is filled with polyester fibre and has some stainless steel balls in her tummy and hind legs for extra weight.

Kiya has black glass eyes and an embroidered nose and mouth.

Her face and the tips of her ears have been carefully hand shaded.

She is also wearing a hand made wire wrapped Jasper pendant.

Kiya is one of a kind and currently available from my website.

This is my latest bear Awen.

Here is a close up of his pendant.
It is an amethyst that I have wrapped in silver wire and engraved the symbol of Awen, which means wisdom, truth and inspiration

Melisa's baby owl keeps doing the rounds on Facebook, so I keep pointing out that it isn't a real owl and point them in the direction of her website.

I would like to introduce you all to my latest bear.

Her name is Nyx.

Nyx is approximately 11" tall when standing, made from black Alpaca and is five way jointed.
Her paw pads are cashmere and she has embroidered toes.

She is filled with polyester fibre and has some stainless steel balls in her tummy for extra weight.

She has hand painted purple glass eyes set atop white felt and has a large embroidered nose.
Her face has been carefully trimmed and needle sculpted to give more definition to the muzzle.

Nyx is also wearing a circlet of white silk roses and a necklace with purple beads and a crescent moon pendant.

Here is my latest bear, Blue.

Blue is approximately 14.5" tall when standing.

He is made from beautifully soft blue, black and white faux fur and has matching blue cashmere paw pads.
Blue is five way jointed, filled with heavy weight polyester fibre and has some stainless steel ball bearings in his tummy for extra weight.

He has black glass eyes set atop white felt and has a large embroidered nose. His face has been lightly hand shaded.

Blue is currently available from my website.

He is my very first cat, and he has already been adopted.
He is made from black faux fur and has black hand painted glass eyes. He is fully jointed.

Freya is a my very first moon gazing hare.

Freya is approximately 9.5 " tall.

She is made from soft cream faux fur, and has cream ultrasuede inner ears.

Freya has black glass eyes and a perle cotton nose.

Her face and the tips of her ears have been carefully hand shaded to resemble an arctic hare.

Freya is five way jointed and is filled with heavy weight polyester fibre.

She also has some stainless steel balls in her tummy for extra weight.

Please allow me to introduce you to my latest bear, Sabrina.

I was listening to 'Sabrina' by Inkubus Sukkubus when I finished her, and I think the name just suited her perfectly.

Sabrina has black glass eyes, and is made with beautifully soft red/white & black mohair.

She is five way jointed. She is filled with heavy weight polyester fibre and has some stainless steel balls in her tummy for extra weight.

She has a perle cotton embroidered nose, and her face has also been lightly shaded.

Sabrina is also wearing a rose quartz spiral necklace and a black pointy witches hat (not bad for a first attempt at hat making, even if I do say so myself).

I think she would make the perfect Samhain gift for someone!

Meet Silver.

Silver is approximately 6” tall when standing. He is made from grey sassy fur.

He is fully jointed, filled with polyester fibre and also has some stainless steel ball bearings in his tummy for extra weight.

Silver has hand painted glass eyes and a black needle felted nose.

His face has been lightly needle-sculpted and hand shaded.

He is also wearing a silver bell around his neck.

He is five way jointed. He is filled with heavy weight polyester fibre and has some stainless steel balls in his tummy for extra weight.

Humbug has a needle-felted nose and mouth.

His face has also been lightly needle sculpted to give a little more shape to his muzzle.

She has black glass eyes and has a large needle felted nose. Her face has been extensively scissor sculpted and lightly hand shaded.

Luna also has a white organza flower in her hair.
