He's obviously holding that cookie for a friend (but has gotten hungry)!
oh, what BIG eyes, you have....
The better to see you with....
So sorry to hear about your uncle! Bear therapy sounds like an excellent idea. I like the big unjointed teddies for a nice squeeze like this one.

It's Scrunchy bear from our supermarket here, Shop-Rite. She is super soft and squishy and her baby is tethered to her so she doesn't get lost. Very good for hugs and nice and big. (They reside in the back seat of my car now and often bring smiles to other people's faces, or okay, a weird look or two.)
Oh, and the smiles are right below the quick reply thingy, (url, img, smiles and a dropbox)
haha, Christina, i couldn't have said it better!
Nice nose!
he certainly captures how I feel on a Monday morning, too!!
what a great face!
Uh-oh, hot or cold, I feel the same way mostly every day.....
i don't know anything about making bears, because I collect them, but your third bear is just lovely!!!!
Wait a second .... has the puppy not noticed the kitten, or is it true love???
thanks, guys They really were meant for me, because I went back the next day and they canceled the sale because of rain!
I just wanted to show off (!!!) or share really what I found at an estate sale of an antique dealer this morning. It opened at 9 a.m. and when I arrived at 8:30, there were about six antique dealers waiting there already. The sale was advertised on Craigslist and said it had some Steiff. Apparently on Fridays, less people show up per sale because there are so many sales going on in the area. One dealer came about 100 miles for this one. When they opened, only five people were allowed in the basement where most of the better things were, and I was lucky to be in the group, as some went out back where they had more stuff. I swear, I very gently pushed past everyone to get to the Steiff (oops).
Anyway, I bought this group for $175: six Steiff and one little Schuco-type bear with the tin and the little doll bed. Not bad (I think)
But the best part was when I got home, I noticed the little dog has a U.S. Zone Germany tag on his side. Woohooo! Maybe I'll go back tomorrow.....
I was wondering...could this be an older Paddington bear without his jacket? Here's some pictures of mine. He's from about 1972, and his ears have been flattened and he's missing an eye and his tag, but his nose is a bit similar to yours....I've just never seen one with a tube inside!
Sehr, sehr niedlich, Kornelia!
**very, very cute! (i'm practicing my German...)
Love it!
oh, no, the Red Panda Gang!!!!! Somebody feed them, quick!
I'd adopt her in two seconds! and her little friend in the background
awwwwwwwwwwwwww! so sweeet!
wow, nice birthday presents!!! Love Daisychain..too cute!
Hmmm...this gives me an idea! Now i know how I can win at the local baby duck races every 4th of July!!! Is that cheating??????
doh, here you go....two different ones, with different feet....These are two modern ones, but google "antique eduard cramer bears" and you'll find pictures!
I recognize them! They are Eduard Cramer bears (Educa)! If i could only figure out how to upload a picture here, I would show you a modern one that I have in my collection. Beautiful family!!!
OMG, WHERE'S HIS HEAD GONE????
(it's my favorite box cat, Maru! -- I think that's who it is anyway -- I'd recognize those little feet anywhere! -- He's turning eight years old on sunday!)
nice bear! I looked, too, and can't find him, although there are some charlie bears that look somewhat similar to him. Perhaps you can submit his picture to Charlie bears on their website, and they'd know? I'd like to know who he is...i'm curious...
