what a beautiful place to visit!
i was having the same issue with Firefox and not with IE, but phew, it's working again after i deleted the cookies! Thank you, Quy!
i always use Firefox....I thought I read somewhere that Internet Explorer wasn't going to be supported anymore.....maybe that's why
I've done that.....
Too cute! A lovely pair of teds!
I've never heard of Dottie Wroten, but when I googled her name, i see she went under the name of Dotties Teddies, and there's a couple of pictures around of her bears out there in Google land....
if you would like to see the site where they list all the mary meyer toys that were made (wow, i think you're so very smart, Becky!), check out this website: marymeyervintage.com. They have lots of information there.
I hope this helps.
What an incredible Bo Peep teddy bear!!! And that little lamb, is just divine......wow
Forget the cup of coffee! I'm asking for a cup of kitten every morning!!!
Wow, what lucky new owner! He's beautiful!
I totally agree with Gail. This white background is very, very, very difficult to read (especially as I get older, sobs) .
Where have all the bear smiley faces gone? I made sure it's checked off in my profile, but I don't see them on the bottom of the page..... :o(
And I do miss the blog/ebay/etsy/website links. I personally used them all the time to see what many teddy bear artists are creating and to ;ppl at what they've made in the past and to find out where they're from!
Yikes, can we bring some of those features back???? Please???? :oP
Woo-hoo, that is great news, Honeytown!!! I've never thought of looking at a garden center!
There are no bear shops close by me, but in south Jersey about 80 miles away there's a great bear shop in Mount Holly...and a small steiff one down the shore about 60 miles away....but thank goodness I don't pass by too often, or I would be broke!
Peterbear, I don't know of any bear shops in New York City (if anyone knows of any, please tell me, as I work in the city at least once a month)!!! Shocking, I know, unless you go to the FAO Schwartz for Steiff bears and pay full retail....i'm finding most of my bears at tag sales and antique shops now!
I know: Maybe she's not that fat, she's just so very fluffy.....
I swear, someday I will get myself to Teddybear Total!!!! Love all your bears....it would be sooooo hard to choose!
so he's the culprit in my computer!!!!
Us Bears wrote:Of course, this defies the Law of Gravity... but I never studied law. ;)
...and the cat never studied Gravity!
...or Law!
even more punny, Us bears!!!
yes, the elephant does have an advantage, :but the little brown bear might be a little faster......
very funny, US bears!!!!
Awww, that is one gorgeous bunny!
nooooooooooooooooooooooooo.........
"A-Weema-Weh! A-Weema-Weh! A-Weema-Weh! A-Weema-Weh!"
In the jungle...the mighty jungle....OH, NO!!! I'll never get this song out of my head now!
(No kidding, the Tokens performed this at my husband's prom in 1970 as I am often reminded by him....way before I met him, of course!)
Love his strut!
i personally think this is a lovely, sweet-looking teddy bear!!! Love the expression and the eyebrows! I have never made a bear (yet), so I am always impressed with anyone who creates a teddy! Good job!
