I have just given my website a complete overhaul. Please feel free to take a look and let me know what you think. Comments left in the guest book are most welcome. www.brierleybears.co.uk
Hugs,

Please allow me to introduce you all to Oscar.
He is 12" tall and is made from faux fur with felt paw pads. He is fully jointed, with a wobble neck joint and nut and bolt joints in his arms and legs.
He is filled with heavy polyester fibre and has stainless steel shot in his tummy.
He will be available at the Great Yorkshire Teddy Bear Event at Sheffield Hilton on Sunday.
They're beautiful Kim! See you at the fair x
They're gorgeous!! See you there x
That robot teddy reminds me of the creepy doll in the movie "the 6th day". Granted, the bear is much cuter that the creepy doll, but I still don't think I like it.
I wish Shadow was that helpful. He thinks he is helping when I do the step exercise on the wii fit (he helps by chasing my feet and nibbles my ankles).
Then again, he is only 1 year old, so he still has time to learn, lol.
Hi everyone,
I have just given my website a complete new look.
Please feel free to take a look if you have a spare few minutes. www.brierleybears.co.uk
If anyone wants to swap links let me know and I will add you to my links page.
That is a great site! I love the bat-eared foxes on there and the baby otters are adorable. Watch the baby otter video, it so cute!
I get my faux fur from the faux throw company http://fauxthrow.com/
I will do. I only set it up yesterday, so fingers crossed it works well.
I have decided to give the facebook storefront a go. I have to at least try it since it's free.
I have a fan page on facebook, which is linked to my twitter page and my blog so I only have to post to facebook and the others automatically update for me.
I make my bears in my spare time as I have a full time job, so linking the three together like this saves me a lot of time.
I was wondering if they made smaller growlers too. Most of my bears are around 10" tall and they are all to big for them.
I have tried to buy one of those recorded sound things from Build a Bear before though, and they won't sell them to you unless it is in one of their bears. I haven't tried them recently though, so maybe they have changed their policy.
I'm hoping to be there for the day as a visitor.
All the winners are listed on the Brewins' Bruins website.
I came 2nd in category 4 with Buster  . Hopefully the weather will stay nice at the weekend so we can have a celebratory barbeque.
It is a clouded leopard. Here are more pics, be warned, they are very very cute!!
It is a very smiley gecko.
That photo has made my day, I love it!!
Aww those lizards are cute! I think it may be a little more than a hug though, lol.
Thanks for that Jane, it made my day!
aussie felts wrote With the idea of showing the photographs of all entries....I don't know if it would be possible cost-wise but perhaps something like a "Special Edition Mini Magazine" paired together with the magazine could be an option? You could showcase the entries that way....
Oh I like this idea
I know other comps are expensive but I wont enter them either because again the cost is too high for nothing in return if there is no nomination, but if there was a small mini magazine with all the bear photos and artist details then at least there is a little bit of advertising for the cost
I love this idea. I like the idea of seeing the other entries, especially if you don't get through to the nominations.
I usually enter a few competitions each year, but I can't afford to enter more than one bear in each competition as the entry fees are a little expensive. Last year especially, for the overseas competitions, because of the exchange rate.
I also agree with Paula that the competition deadlines are all close together, so it is quite a lot of money to pay out in one go.
Just to let you all know, Shadow is feeling a lot better now.
His stitches came out on Monday, and he starts hydrotherapy tomorrow night. I will take a few photo's.
We don't know if he will need anymore operations yet, it all depends on how his bones grow from now on.
Have you tried any pet shops? They might have them.
Joanne, your daughter sounds like me, I like the living dead dolls too, I think they're cute.
I have a few bleeding edge goth dolls and the first series of kinder goths. The kinder goths are plush goth dolls by Bleeding Edge, cute in an odd sort of way (to me anyway).
I also have a bad taste bear on my computer at work, they are exactly what their name suggests, but they tickle me.
Then again I do have quite a dark sense of humour.
The bear in the coffin I don't like, however, had it been a Vampire theme bear I could appreciate it.
The zombie bears "Teddy Scares". Sort of a 'cute but dead' thing like the kindergoths, both of which have their own little personalities, likes and dislikes etc., again appealing to my sense of humour. These are also quite popular within the Goth community and are always available from somewhere at Whitby Goth Weekend.
I love the Snoopy wannabe.
Shadow's appointment at the vets went well yesterday. They are very happy with his progress, and they removed the bandage. The downside is that he constantly had to have the collar on, and he's not too happy about it.
The swelling has almost gone.
He is going for the stitches taking out on Monday.
