Each year the exciting and popular URSA Awards Competition challenges worldwide artists to 'Reach Way Beyond the Stars' for their ideas.
To keep the yearly contest interesting we change several categories to reflect the requests of the artists. We take into consideration everyone's ideas and requests. This year we added 2 more categories!
Over all, bear artists seem to make 10-18 inch bears and now we hear many of you wish to enter even bigger bears. That's fabulous!!! So next year we'll most likely have a Hugely Huggable Category for bears and buds over 18". but in the meantime, you'll notice that many of the categories are for 'all sizes' --- so why not enter one of your BIG 'bears or buds' in those URSA Award's categories?

If you ever had the pleasure of visiting the Naples Teddy Bear Museum while you were in Florida, then you know how fabulous it was.
A few years back the museum closed and now many of the bears have been listed on eBay.

The pictures of the Bright Star Promotions' Fall Schaumburg show are wonderful and a great opportunity for those that could not attend to experience the show too. Great photography!
We had a very successful Teddy Bear event in Schaumburg and look forward to coming back next year.
It was so nice to see all the avid collectors and new customers enjoy the show. Their excitement was contagious and many bears found new homes.
We want to thank Intercal and Bear Street for their support along with continued support from Good Bears of the World, Teddy Bear Review, Build-A-Bear and Bears&Buds Online Webzine.
