For artists and collectors sponsored by Intercal...your mohair supplier and Johnna's Mohair Store
Well I didn't opt for the refund I was just happy to receive the two owing as "Collect It" plus a bonus two issues...WELL I AM STILL WAITING.
Such a sad end to a wonderful magazine...and what a bitter taste it's leaving behind because of poor business management!
... to comment on all the lovely bears listed.
There are just too many and such little time to spare.
Good Luck everyone!
Thanks guys! Don't know how they'll go, but you never know unless you test the waters!
I think I have itchy feet or hormone problems, cause I have just listed another 3 day no reserve!
My thinking is that if one outlet fails you, best thing to do is create another! You said you haven't had so much stock since doing shows, well, maybe that's telling you the time is right to find your bears a show to take part in? Just a thought!
I really believe that we need to stay as versatile as possible with our trading outlets. Personally, I don't particularly enjoy selling on Ebay, so in the main, I steer well clear of it and work hard to promote my bears in other ways. I've never used Ebay as the mainstay of my business and never will.
Judi's absolutely right, bear sales are always quieter at this time of year...
I guess I was born an optimist because I see the third point quite differently.
I think your suggestion regarding having so much stock would be a wonderful time to commit to doing a show.
And like you, I only tend to pop onto eBay occasionally...probably have a little fling twice a year at best.
But on the third point...those of you who live in the northern hemisphere seem to forget it's winter down under and in this day and age of the internet your market is WORLDWIDE not just limited to where you live.
I guess sometimes we need to look at the "glass" again to see it's half full, not half empty.
What a little sweetie Ruth!
Thanks you guys! It's nice to receive your good wishes.
I have just added another if anyone wants to bag a bargain ... no reserve on this one!

Congratulations Denise on becoming a mummy once more! She's the type of baby I love!
I have a bear up for auction on ebay ... http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi … 0258144701
Yep...decided it was time to take the plunge again.
Hey maybe you should borrow my sign...
Hi Edie!
I think you have to ask yourself why you began making bears in the first place.
This industry has always peaked and troughed, it has always had it's shooting stars...the one's that shine bright for a little while and fade into the darkness...and it has people who love what they are doing whether they make money or not, the plodders who are in it for the long haul. It has bear makers who sit quietly at home sewing just for the enjoyment and who after ten years become an "overnight success".
After almost thirteen years in this wonderful, sometimes irrational, seductive, warm world of teddy bears, I still can't find rhyme or reason in it.
But I know I will never give making teddy bears away till I either go blind, can't use my hands or I have one foot in the grave.
I wish you well in reaching a decision that only you can make.
Hi Paula!
You have some very fine looking bears for Hugglets...this one in particular is very handsome indeed!
Hudson is a lovely traditional bear that would be welcomed by any collector...me especially
Melisa you can send pictures in to Teddy Bears and Friends, check the link out:

Banner advertising on TT is a very inexpensive way to promote your site.
Linking with other teddy artists is also a great way.
Joing other teddy groups and listing with promotional webs like Bear Artists Worldwide, Teddy Bears and Critters Australasia, North Country Teddy Bears will also help.
Forwarding photos and a web listing to the magazines.
...to all the girls participating in this weekend's online show with Nancy T.

Like you Nancy I am a keen Ted Menten fan and would have so loved to be a part of this weekend. However, family committments have to be met and we will be up the bush celebrating my mother's birthday...NO COMPUTER AT HER HOUSE!
Good luck with the show, I'm sure it will be a great success!
Looks great Shelly and much more in keeping with your beautiful bunnies!
How sad for you Wendy...AND B****Y FRUSTRATING I BET! He's such a cute little puddle too!
And I love the colour combination, it looks great!
I've voted and sent emails to my own data base, the TBACA data base and ALL my friends.
But wouldn't it be nice if everyone on TT sent a nice little "VOTE NOW" email to all the people on their data bases.
Come on girls...get with it and support the cottage industry you are working in! We don't care who you vote for JUST VOTE!!!
Super job Lynette and a very well done to all concerned with the organising.
I am absolutely thrilled to announce the three representatives for Australia are all TBACA members. It's great to see the Aussies getting involved with things that promote our cottage industry and our art!
Thanks to all who took the time to read Chris's feature and you lovely ladies who have posted here.
We have made a few changes to the site, as many people were unable to find the artists profile galleries.
These are now on a seperate page and we have also made it easier for you to find the weekly additions of available bears.
I'm thankful to the collectors who notified me of the difficulties...it's only through receiving this type of feedback that we find ways to improve the site.
Sneak previews of show bears will come later as we get closer to the show date.
Hugs to all!
Thank you so much Marlys.
Just quietly, I think you are the only American that stops by...we never seem hear from anyone else.
Peta ... Betty and I took heaps but sent to Sandra for Australian Bear Creations, so didn't think it was appropriate to post on here ... all should be in the next edition.
Just dropping in to let you know we have just posted a wonderful feature on Chris on the web site.
It's a great read and well worth stopping by.
