cute! I know what you mean about that biological clock. Mine is deafening!
When do we get to see her?
Hello-
I was thinking of subscribing to a bear magazine and was wondering which if any are your favorites? I was looking at Teddy Bear review and noticed they have a cheaper online version. Has anyone done it this way?
Thanks
shanna
Intercal clearly states what their postal charges are, but I can't find the information on the Edinburgh site. Does anyone know what they charge? Is there any other place besides Intercal and Edinburgh that you would recommend buying eyes or joints?
Thanks
Shanna
Wow, I'm amazed at the detail you could get into such a small face! Love her!

Love him! I love all your elephants.
I too like the idea of fresh air; however, I'll admit that I occasionally use a satchel filled with dried lavender on my own collection.
Shanna
Thanks!
Love them!
I just LOVE LOVE LOVE your bunnies. She is adorable.
Hello-
I just listed a little panda on Bear Pile. I think this will be my last little guy for a few weeks. I'm not having much success in the sale arena, so maybe it's better that I focus on something else for a little while. I hope you like his photos!
Shanna
Thanks everyone. I've talked to other bear pile artists and I guess things are really really slow. Too bad! I'm going to try not to take it too personally if he never sells.
Shanna
Thank you thank you!!
I finally got around to posting Vanilla Bean on Bear Pile. I'm crossing my fingers that someone will give him a home!

Gladys,
Thanks for your tips and your kind words about my bear. So you don't anchor it? does it ever come out of the trunk, maybe the ends are too long for this to be a problem? Mine will be a little one as well.
Thanks
Shanna
I've seen so many cute elephants around and was going to try my hand at my first little lucky elephant. I noticed that most people wire the trunks. I've wired arms and ears before, but can't think of where you would anchor the wire. Anyone willing to help me out on this one?
Thanks
Shanna
Beautiful. Photos like these make me wish I was wealthy
Just incredible! I can't believe how realistic the squirrel looks. Bravo!

Thanks! I used some beading thread. I liked it because it holds a crinkle. It was really difficult to cut though. I think it was made by Dandylion or something along those lines and I bought it at Michaels.
Shanna
Thanks! I loved doing the whiskers, it was my first time using them and I really like what they add. I appreciate your friendly comments.

Meet Vanilla Bean! He is a miniature bunny made out of a delicious snow white synthetic with white guard hairs. His paw pads and inner ears are made of ultrasuede. He is 5 way jointed (wobble jointed head) with wired arms and ears for lots of posing possibilities. I added some BB's to his bottom to give him a little bit of weight. I still have not mastered the art of good photography (I think I need some sort of set up, maybe a light box?), but I hope you like him anyway. Eventually I hope to get him posted on Bear Pile. Thanks for taking a peak at Vanilla Bean.

I loved the book. My cousin bought it for me for Christmas, we are both fans of children's literature. He looks fantastic!! I'm sure the school will be thrilled!!!
