Congratulations Judi.
They did a nice job on the article!!
The magazines in the UK are exceptionally well presented. The quality of the pics are fabulous and they complement your bears perfectly.
I just received teddy Bear Scene April, May and they are spectacular also.
It's nice to see some of the British Artists and their wondeful bears !!!
I only do one head, and it takes on it's personality from there.
I never use the same pattern So it's potluck as to how it will turn out.
But I do play with the ears and reposition them, usually I pin them and look at it through the day and then the next day I decide whether I like it and "Viola" a head is born..
What a gymnast..!!
I was able to do those exercises when I was really young!! Like 12...
Congratulation to you Tammy..
"Butt" if he had only known.....

Hello bear friends.
From time to time I like to post on this forum. I've been busy just reading lately and dashing off to finish sewing.
But I wanted to thank Luralee for posting an article about me on..

Thnak you so much for reading.
TATA for now....
My daughter took one look at it and said, thank goodness hes not the Easter Bunny. Looks like he ate too.... many Easter eggs.
I picked up some textured sculpey clay from my local store. Only had two in stock. Packet of eight, called Granitex. Stone coloured clay.
I'll give it a whirl his weekend and see how it comes out.
Mine takes me as long as it takes. But approximately 15-20 hrs on a miniature and longer on plush.
It all depends what mood I'm in... and often my husband says, stop fussing around with that bear!! zIt's great the way it looks..
Yes I agree,
Anthing that goes internationally has to go through customs.. So theres a tad of paperwork, but the bears "fly" there, approximately in a week.
I do recall a few years ago, I found some sculpey clay for my daughter.
That's in the days when we did crafts together.
And it came in a grey and white speckled color and other colors from a craft factory in my town.
I'll have to do some reserach and see if they still make any.
Jodi,
He is a sweet little chap.
I have noticed my sales have been down this month!!
Hope that helps and I'm sure he'll go to a good home real soon.
I've learnt in the past as I've shipped internationally. To go down to the post office and have it weighed and advise the customer that you will get the exact postage that is required and let them know before the transaction goes through.
It makes everyone happy and I always have the customer pay the shipping as part of the transaction.
Hope that helps.
Silly question, as I'm new to all of this, even though I try to read all the info each night.
In order to enter into the URSA awards, you have to be a member. Am I correct?
