Sonya... all your time in the bear biz, and you are still afraid to just take a little peek to see what kind of "parts" your bears have !!!! I'm sorry... poor taste! One of my husband's friends asked me that at dinner last week.... "How do you decide if they are boys or girls?" Well.... you just lift up their little tails and take a peek!"

Poor thing is just like the customer, has no preference for sex
Sorry, I couldn't resist!
Aleta, I think like you. I thought it had a very feminine face.... hmmmm..

Congratulations to all of the TT's who were nominated. How wonderful for all of you!
Thanks Shelli for posting the list. I have been waiting and feeling the way a lot have, that since they haven't called yet, I assumed I didn't make the list. And I was correct, but it is nice to know so I can start the healing of the sting of not getting a nomination again this year. Time to get out of the funk and get my creativity flowing for next time. By the way, is the lounge still open??

Jane, I am so sorry to hear this news. BUT that being said, this is WONDERFUL news compared to what it would be if she didn't know and came down with breast cancer. At least she can be proactive in protecting herself. Most people don't know until it is too late. I have already had 2 scares with breast cancer, 2 biopsies and one time was told I had breast cancer, but then it was determined to be pre-cancer. I contemplated the same thing your daugter is going thru and decided if I had one more bad mamogram, that is exactly what I might do. It is scary, but when you concider the implications of doing nothing, it really starts looking much better to do it. I pray for you and your daughter. Shelli is right, there are many support groups for this, she really should get involved in one. You too. It really can help you look at the overall big pictuire.

Here is my 1st effort.
That was fun!
I know some have seen these babies, but this is the first time I saw so many pictures of them. Hope you enjoy. If thse don't make you smile, you have gotta have ice water in your viens.
This is for those that haven't seen the 16 baby pandas.
SICHUAN, China -- One zoo in southwest China has
its hands full with 16 baby pandas.
The Sichuan Wolong Panda Protection and Breed Center is dealing with the results of a
breeding boom -- 16 pandas have been born since July, 2006. The brood includes five
sets of twins. The cubs are weighed and measured every five days (see pics)
The heaviest tips the scale at just over 24 pounds, while the lightest weighs about 11 pounds.
The pandas are due to stop suckling by February, 2007 just about the time they'll start learning to
walk. Once weaned, the panda cubs will attend panda kindergarten. In the meantime, more little
ones are expected at the center since 38 giant pandas were artificially impregnated.
Enjoy!

I have used this when I first started to design patterns. It is very good and really explains how to calculate the proportions, etc. I don't remember everything that was in it, but I do remember it had template plastic and a very good book. I also took one of Jennifer's courses and it was great too.

PS By the way, Cindy has been a bear artist for MANY years. probably about 20
what is a haggis?
Daphne, I have to say that you are in the wrong business! You should be a motivational speaker! Really! You certainly got me ready to hop right on that bandwagon and ACTIVELY and ENTHUSTICALLY take on this challenge. You go girl! and I am going with you!

You got it right Lisa. When we were in Phoenix at Christmas, Caidence went to get her first haircut (just a trim actually). Anyway, they have a little girls beaUTY/glamour shop. Little girl sized chairs, they cut and style thier hair, they can get different washable colors in it, glitter, etc.. They sell little girl fancy purses and hats and boas. It was too fun!
danni.. good genes.. that was this past summer
st went right before Christmas. I don't know about the under 3 get in free, but it sounds good to me!
Kim- you make me laugh! Caidence has the most kissable cheeks. And she is smart as a whip. She talks like she was 4 or 5. When I was there right after Christmas, her other grandma was there as well. We all went out to dinner and Caidence pointed out to me that THAT was her gramdma. I told her I was her grandma too. She looked at me and laughed and said, uh uuuh, you are just kidding me! It took another day to convince her. lolol
Tracy- oh but didn't you know... being boys doesn't have to stop you from trying on those sweet little dresses. of course it gets harder once they are over about 2 years old. (ask me... I know!)
I just had to post the pics I just got from my daughter. They recently went to Disneyland and my granddaughter LOVES the Disney Princesses. So Mommy got her a princess outfit. What a little ham!
