Hello a Newbie from Australia here.

My name is Wendy, I'm a hobbyist bear maker, and collector. I have over a 100 bears in my collection, some I've bought and others I've made myself.
I'm 56 years old, and I live in tropical Darwin.

Big welcome to Teddy Talk, Wendy . . . glad you joined our group!  You will fit right in as we have many artists and quite a few collectors (some members are both like you are).  Looking forward to seeing your work.

bear_wub Welcome to TT Wendy, here is the greatest place to be for anything to do with bears and other stuff also.  How to do things are in the library, which is a host of information in itself.  The people here are the best and we chat about so many things and show off our newest creations, have swaps, challenges, there are so many things to do.  So glad you are here and hope you love being here.

Welcome to TT from me! hug

I'm rather new here too, but have found some kind of second home with lots of nice people - I'm sure they'll welcome you as warm as they did welcome me!

Hi Wendy, fancy seeing you here! I told Bec about this great group a couple of weeks ago. I haven't checked to see if she's joined. I'm pretty new too.

Re: Hello a Newbie from Australia here.

Thank you for your warm welcome. I will post some pictures, but as I've just started the Basic Bearmaking Bootcamp, it may take a few days before I can get around to uploading them.
Di, I saw that you had recommended this site to Bec so I came to have a look myself. The BBB is very good, I have picked up a few tips in the first few lessons. I think I'll have to take my bear to work with me tonight, otherwise I will fall to far behind.
