Pat, thank you for your nice words.
I don't know how my gran's last hours were but I hope so much that she didn't have to suffer....
Ariane

Dear Ariane,
I am so sorry to hear that you lost your gran.

Hi Ariane
I have just read your post - I am so very, very sorry for you and your family.
I had a very dear Great-Gran (she bought my Mum up), I was 21 when she passed on. I have been thinking a lot about her lately. I feel this is the true meaning of "living" after ones death. You live on in the hearts and minds of those who loved you.
There is a bit in the film "Ghost" that always brings tears to my eyes - when Sam says "Its true what they say Mollie, the love you feel inside - you take it with you".
If you have truely loved and been loved - that person will ALWAYS be with you.
Special hugs at this sad time
.
Karon

Thank you all for your comforting words, they make me feel a bit better

MoreDear Ariane
I'm so sorry to hear your sad news losing our loved ones is never easy but your Gran is now not in any pain and now has her well earned rest
hold her memory close to your heart.
Raewyn

Hello all,
I think it is better for her wherever she is now, the last months were a pain for her...
Nevertheless, it still makes me cry....
Thanks for the support
Ariane

Dear Ariane: I am so sorry for your loss. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Thank you, Michelle
we have decided that my little guardian angel will be put into the coffin of my gran and will be burned with her. On the one hand, it makes me sad to know that one of my creations will be "destroyed", but on the other hand, I think it's a nice idea - the angel can watch over her in her after-life, too...

That is such a good idea, that Angel will be right with her in spirit.
I put little bears inside the coffin of every funeral I go to. It can be a bought one or one that I made, but it is little, about 3 inches. Just so the person has comfort along the way.
God Bless you and your family.
Hugs Pat

A little bear sounds like a good idea, too..although I can't easily part with my little creations, they take so much time and love...
