Hi everyone,
I recently got a couple of rabbits, and I noticed that the fur I pick up when I'm brushing them is really, really soft. I know some people reuse pet hair in needlefelting, but I'm wondering how you're supposed to do that? I'd like to wash it first, but I don't know how you're meant to do that, and I'm guessing you would need to card it after it's washed? Anyone here know?
Thanks.

I've tried washing the hair of my rabbits but it always ended up as a lump of felt. Carding that would be painstaking. bear_ermm It worked better when I first needle felted it on and then washed the finished sculpture.
