Here is a pic of my shrinky dink tags..
The bigger tag is before I shrink them and the other two are after they are shrunk
My informational tags are business card size, I do not attach them to the bears... I have a little shrinky dink tag around the bears neck though with upholstry thread that says Kim-Bee Bears, the bear's name and what year they were created
WOWWEEE!! you are onto something, girl!
I dont use superglue anymore ONLY because I ALWAYS manage to glue my fingers together YIKES! ... I dont use leather cording because it never turned out right LOL.... I just mostly needlefelt eyelids or I will sink my eyes so I dont have to do eyelids Wow, you made me think twice about accessorizing my bears (although I never have used dried flowers)...
I do from side to side- one socket to the other and build the bridge up... that is what has worked the best for me
AWWW thanks guys!
LMAO... oh Jane, you are too funny (I love when holidays come around because I know you will be coming out with a TT party!)
Merry Christmas, Kim, to you and your family
Here is my latest felted bear
I haven't done a completely felted bear in a while and had lots of fun (and a few ouchies) creating this little fella...
Here is little Tutti (short for Tutti Fruity)
Very cute!!!

June 25, 2005! WOW!
thick backings are hard on your hands... that is one of the reasons that I no longer work with real fur... I wouldn't throw it out, I would just step away, maybe make another bear... but I always try to salvage a bear, especially since I hand sew and thowing a bear out is too difficult (6-8 hours of sewing down the drain, yikes!) and especially if the face is already done! YIKES!
   thank you for your kind words
And i am so vrery very very happy to see Kimmy bacjk and making angels
Oh Dilly, good to see you to and glad to be back, FINALLY!
Maybe using iron on interfacing? (that is the word I am looking for, right? Or maybe using fray check around the edges???
I haven't ever had a problem with synthetics (furry fuzzy synthetics) fraying.... but with regular cotton fabrics, (like I am about to do shortly), I use iron on interfacing so that it doesnt fray (which was also suggested to me by the gal at the fabric store or to use fray check...)... fray check will make it thicker though....
I am having trouble selling my bears on ebay (and getting a little down about it)... Are there any suggestions on getting bids? I am sure I am not the only one who has had trouble selling a bear but after Joshua didn't sell (which I thought was one of my best bears yet), I think I need to try to figure out what the "problem" is....
Should I change my auction templates?
Should I lower my starting bids?
Should I do a "featured auction"?
Should I end my auctions at 8:00 p.m. (ebay time)?
What can I do, girls??? HELP!!
I think it looks like a very adorable baby roo!
Thanks Matilda It is a really easy collar to make
Very neat dilu! I love the hairdos you give your gollys
Your bears really make me smile (I love the second one!!)
Depends on how motivated I am to get the bear done LOL... Anywhere from around 6 to as long as maybe 2 weeks....
