hi.

I have seen the most wonderful crocheted bear, I thougt is was made from mohair - but no, chrocheted ????

Anyone who know how this is possible ?    bear_shocked

Yes Becky, I have seen a few on Bearpile, so lovely - I coud not belive they vere crocheted.

One is here, it looks sewn to me - I think I can see seams on the head and on the feet, but the
text say chrochet, strange....

Look at bear number 2. It says that it was chrocheted with magic thread, and then brushed.

Hi I crochet bears that look like fur and it is crocheted with eyelash yarn or puffy yarn. I also crochet in mohair and brush to make a fur look...hope this helps x

Nice bears, Nicole! The yarn you used for the rose-colored bear really makes it look like a sewn bear.

Sorry, I only just see this post. Magic thread is a synthetic yarn. After crocheting you brush with a mohair brush, and the yarn fluffs up.
