Anyway, does anyone recognize this type of bear? It feels old to me (it is straw stuffed), but maybe it is an artist bear made to look old? It is made of a rather sparse mohair and his paw pads are a rough almost burlap material. I've seen others on ebay and elsewhere -- sometimes they say artist and sometimes they are listed as German, Hungarian, Eastern European.
Any info would be appreciated.
