I use photoshop. But it does have steep learing curve...........plus if you have to buy it it's very expensive.

That is the funniest thing ever! LOL

and using a hand blender is soo not needed! LOL

well, I have to be honest.

I've both trimmed the seam and just plucked the fur out of them and because when I trim the seams I never seem to to a 'perfect' job I end up pulling the fur out of the seams anyway.

So if I pluck the fur out of the seams before and after turning the piece I get the same effect and I like my seams to be perfect and invisible.
I also make sure as I sew the pieces I tuck the fur in so I don't get those problems Bobbie was talking about.

So I don't bother trimming the seams anymore but that's just me.

oh man, that sucks.

Not only did someone steal from you, but they took advantage of you. Bear making is a unique career where we really put our heart and soul into what we do. The theft is so much more than a bear.

I hope this person gets back to you but I'm scared they wont. Please don't stop making your bears, although I totally understand how you can feel it may not be worth it. Just think of all the people that you have have made happy with your bears. I would be sad if I never saw another one again.

But aside from all that, thanks for not being embarrassed and sharing your experience with all of us, possibly preventing this from happening to others. That is very generous of you, so I thank you!

Yeah, I've been busy with the show to, and I got this crazy idea to have my own table with my own bears and anyone that knows me, knows it takes me months to make a bear! AHHHHH

right now at work I'm sewing.........LOL looks funny but I don't care!!!!

As for what I wanted to do?? One thing, and I still want to. I want to own a bunch of land and have a bunch of rescued animals. I saw a show once on a woman who rescued apes from medical testing and it was touched my heart in a way nothing else has.
One day I'll get there for sure.

Now I DIDN'T want to be like everyone else with an office job working for 'the man' downtown.

Guess what/? That's just what I do! LOL
I guess I never thought 'the man' would pay so darn well! LOL

Hey everyone,

I haven't been too active as late, well with working, preparing for a baby, gardening and just not being on a computer has put me a little out of touch.

So, its a perfect day, the weather is fantastic, my gardening is done and looks pretty, the animals are out with me and I'm sitting on our deck with our laptop with PLENTY of time to catch up on some TT'in'

I hope all of you are also having a great day, or at least trying to ! lol

WOW!!!!!!!!!! I don't know what else to say but that I'm in love. 

I'm not really an ebay seller so take what I say with a grain of salt but.........

I dont' think it's good advertising at all. There are soo many bears listed on there it's easy to get lost among all of them, including all the non-artist bears in that catagory.

Plus it's not like you can list your website on your auction either so people won't really follow you off ebay.

And yes, it MAY look bad if week after week your bears don't sell. I find myself wondering why some bears are listed so cheaply even though I'm sure nothing is wrong with them, I still can't help but wonder why they are willing to sell their bears so cheaply.

I agree with Laura, website updates, shipping, packaging etc. YUCK

and for me, I make a hefty hourly wage at my 'real' job. So if I consider that's what I'm worth, my bears would have to sell for thousands and that just wont work, although I wish.

Makes it hard to EVER consider making bears full time.

yeah, don't get me started.

I have to drive in nasty traffic and it's just downright scary that some people just cant drive. They can't stay in their lane, they cut you off, don't shoulder check......on and on and on and on.....

And now that I'm pregnant I find my road rage even worse!

what helps? I put a great, loud stereo system in my car so at least I can turn up the tunes when I'm getting mad.

What I'll do with a kid in the car I have yet to figure out.

I just got a shipment from UPS and I was lucky.....no fees! I guess they don't charge them everytime and boy do I feel lucky now
