Sandra, I am laughing at your post, but between laughs... Where do you need them sent to? Isn't it funny the binds our mouths seem to get us into?

Thanks! I am still waiting on my copy. When the editor told me she wanted to feature my bear, I was surprized. Then delighted, especially when she then asked to do a profile. Hoping my issue gets here soon.
Sonya
Wonderful news! It must have been so hard for Mommy to not have them both together. Gosh, I bet they are sweet!
Sonya
I am still waiting for my issue as well. They are featuring one of my bears. Congratulations Sue Ann!

Renae, How wonderful for you AND your daughter! My Christmas was hectic. Since I did Thanksgiving at my house, this year my brother did Christmas at his house. Yeah! But so many kids! lol. I got a wonderful surprise for Christmas. My digital camera is a 3.2 megapixel Fujifilm and I liked it ok, but I had asked if maybe Santa could find a 5 or 6 megapixel camera. (I secretly hoped for a Canon Digital Rebel xti, but knew that wasn't happening at close to $1000) My fiance' told me what order I could open presents and I loved everything he gave me. But the last present blew me away... a 10.1 megapixel Canon Digital Rebel xti plus lens and 1GB card! I never even mentioned this camera to him! I LOVE it!
Now I have to learn to USE it! What fun! Anyone have one of these? It is kind of intimidating.
Sonya
OMG Jane! What more can I say! That was one fun Party. YOU ROCK! Love you!

I am still waiting also.
Instead of resizing it at 72 dpi do it at 300 dpi. The picture will be smaller, but retain better resolution. (it will still be the same number of pixels

Bobbie,
I have a box of what you are referring to right in front of me. I bought it to use for artificial flowers. It is called Wonder Water and I got it at Walmart of all places. In the craft department where they sell the glass rocks and marbles for vases. Anyway, This is what the box says. Solidifies into gel, firmly holding your arrangement in place. Turns into a clear gel that looks like water but is thick enough to hold your flowers in place. Will not bind to the inside of the glass (or vase) BUT it also says, Quite easy to remove, just pull out your stems and remove the gel (to use it, you heat it up to melt it, then it will cool and solidify (somewhat) Your arrangement will not be permanent. It also warns, do not use acrylic of any kind as it will cause clouding also do not allow water to come in contact with the Wonder water or it also will cause clouding. Do not keep your arrangement in direct sunlight or it will yellow.
I don't know what it costs, but I would think you might want something more permanent
I was looking on the web and found some info about a product called Silk Shoppe Acrylic Water Kit that is a 2 part resin that dries to a hard acrylic. It says that you don't have to worry about bubbles, because they disappear as it hardens. It is supposed to be sold at some walmarts also.
new update: the above mentioned really is made for items to be less than 1/2" thick.
Looks like the best to use is a polyester based resin. Here is a link

Merry Christmas Laurie!
I will be back in a bit.. have to write a couple of thank you notes
I will do that Aleta.
I would love to see everyone's creativity
Aleta, Isn't Trans Siberian Orchestra WONDERFUL! I have 2 of thier CD's but would LOVE to see them live!
I will have to wait until it is dark to take a picture.
I decorated outside. My house is a two story so THAT was FUN! I think the peak of the highest point is about 40 feet high! Anyway, I put icicle lights all over and it looks like an ice castle in the desert, then I put 2 foot tall lighted trees up the driveway and sidewalk
No snow but it has been cold and windy
