Nice to see you back and feeling better, Kim!
It must have been a hard time...
Here it is good to enjoy Sring. we are having some sunny days and warm too, so it is good to have outside activities like cutting wood for next Winter, enjoying little rides on bicycle, doing some fixes in the house, planting new plants in our tiny flower bed and in pots.
Beary hugs,
Sophie.
Hi everybody!
Even if i am still long at getting back to work on my bears I decided I would open a blog.
So please, visit http://sophiezours.blogspot.com/
It will not concern only my bears...

Hi!
I sent you a PM. I just hope it can be helpful.
FIMO clay can be baked into a microwave in a bowl of water, which avoids toxic gas to be produced during the process.

On that website, you will get more info.

Ah, Melisa, i think you had a great idea to adopt these two beautiful horses!
I hope some day I can do the same... First i will need to find a job and save enough money, then i will need to buy a field and then maybe I can consider it... but I will have to learn everything about horses and riding a horse, hehehehehe!
Who knows... maybe some day...
I used to read horse magazines when a child and dream about them.
It is so great you managed to realize your dream!
Beary hugs,
Sophie.
Dear Kumiko and Masaru, your work is amazing.
I fear you may always have some people who won't help making negative comments on your work... That's a shame, but not a reason for stopping everything. Your are very wise to keep going! you have lots of fans who enjoy a lot discovering your new critters and some great customers...
Way to go! I am far behind you with my teddy bear making and am not sure I will some day reach such a high level, but hey, I am happy like that! I usualy prefer to discover new techniques on my own and ask for help only when I reach a point where I find no solution! discovering ourselves is so much rewarding!
It is great you manage to make such beautiful critters with so much technicity and imagination, with such a will to put as many details as possible. I admire you a lot for that.
I loved the realistic toes of your little kitten...
Keep going, you are brilliant!
Beary hugs,
Sophie.

These are great news!
your sons will have a new pla to play with in a few years (time for the baby to be big enough, hehehehehehehe!).
Funny that the due date for your babe is the same as my birthday (not same year, of course!!!!!).
I hope all will go well with your pregnancy.
Beary hugs,
Sophie.
I really love their cute look!
To my view point, they have a really appealing look; the kind of bears you want to take with you once you crossed their big eyes!
Well done!
Beary hugs,
Sophie.
Hehehe, I guessed there was something about it and re-read the whole story before trying to think about it. So when I read coconut tree, I realised there was no need to shake my grey cells to make a choice between all these animals, hehehehehe!
To my knowledge, there is not any banana inside a coconut tree unless a cheeky bugger hide one there!
Beary hugs,
Sophie.

This is such a gorgeous little bear!!!
Beary hugs,

The subject about using disney logos or critters was already discussed on TT. I advice you to use the search button in the menu and then type disney.
I did not search all of them but selected this one as a good strart for you to read :

Thank you very much, Kelly, for sharing with us photos of your wonderful creations!
Beary hugs,
Sophie.
Good news, our swap bears are both arrived!
My bear for Raewyn arrived on friday and she got it on saturday. Raewyn's bear for me arrived on saturday and i got it today (none of us was at home when they arrived!).
So it only took one week!
We both are delighted with our new bear.
Here is Galatee, my bear for Raewyn :

And her box (fully handmade) :

Raewyn let me name my swap bear so my new babe was named Peche Melba after his beautiful colours. He has a peachy yellow mohair, quite dense, with short pile with red tips. He has red leather paw and foot pads and a matching red nose and mouth.
Thank you thank you thank you Raewyn!
Beary hugs,
Sophie.
This new puddlefly is gorgeous!
I love everything about him!
Beary hugs,
Sophie.
Right, this one is THE ONE! You best tiger ever ... until you make a new best one, hehehehehehe!
He is so gorgeous!
You are so talented!
Beary hugs,
Sophie.
Raewyn bear is on its way too. I said her she would have to be patient as to my knowledge, parcels usualy take a long time to arrive in Oz from France. Something like two weeks, most of the time!!!! Fingers crossed it will be shorter!
Of course, as i want to wait for Raewyn to hug her bear before showing photos, you will have to be patient!!!!!
Beary hugs,
Sophie.
Robert, I
Silly...
This bear is just brilliant and will obviously find a loving home in no time. I really have to say I admire you a lot for reaching such an artistry level in only one year of bear making.
Beary hugs,
Sophie.
Pfew!
My bear for Raewyn is finnished! fingers crossed Raewyn will love her...
I am now waiting for a reply from Raewyn to know when we post them.
Meanwhile I am going to get the bear ready for her long journey.
Beary hugs,
Sophie.
