Teddy Talk: Creating, Collecting, Connecting

This Kitty is a custom Feltie of a very talented Bear Person's Long time special friend. Loved creating her because she reminded me of my long time fuzzy  friend. She's about 5" laying down w/hand tinted glass eyes & individually applied whiskers. She's softly felted natural wools w/ a multi-colored styled longer topcoat & hand shaded detail.

Tink is my first custom big Feltie...approx. 12" standing. Tink w/her Joey are softly felted Romney wools over a wire armature. They have German glass black eyes w/ individually applied eyelashes.Hand shaded pastel & watercolor detail w/special attention given to their expressions,body posture and interaction.Really enjoyed the detail working w/this size allows.

You're going to love it...... It's so wide open...no restrictions or patterns. Just what you see in your head. I use med. coarse romney for all initial sculptings and refine w/ the siofter or more exotic wools. As long as you work on a foam block ,beginning w/ 36 gauge needles , refining w/38 & 40 star gauge needles, it will work. the best part is ...you can't make a mistake!
