For artists and collectors sponsored by Intercal...your mohair supplier and Johnna's Mohair Store
I only found your items because i had added you to 'my fav sellers' list Jacqui otherwise i would never have found any of your listings again.
I have left a message on the eBay discussion board as there is a post there from eBay.co.uk inviting comments on their new search engine and layout. If you want to join in the debate, in 'My eBay' click on the ' See All eBay Announcements...' link and you will be taken to the relevent page and then click on the 'Updated: Testing an Improved Finding Experience' link then.........click on the very easily overlooked 'here' link which takes you to the discussion page.
Ebay are making it very difficult to find anything nowadays it seems - even the discussion! Maybe they forsee trouble ahead?
Penny
I am so pleased that you posted this Jacqui, i could'nt find anything and the opt out link at the bottom of the page is almost invisible even after you had pointed it out.
I will email eBay and tell em what i think of em - the swines! Are they intent on losing sales revenue or simply trying to lose customers???? Maybe they are trying to wind down eBay.co.uk and only use eBay.com? Who knows, but artisan listings on eBay.co.uk have been on a downward spiral for months now - or they are hidden!
Bunch of Thicko's (at eBay not here)

I've been wondering where George was Pen Pen, he was due here to pick me up for a date an hour ago!!!! Can you please let him go now, and don't wear him out before he gets here!!!!
So sorry (not really) that George will not be able to accompany you on that date Christine, he is just a shadow of his former self at the moment, all his energy seems to have been sapped - have'nt a clue why! bwahahaaaaaa
I will post him off to you as soon as he is totally used up and of no further interest to me, like that's ever gonna happen.....now off to make him some chicken soup with extra vitamins.
Evil PenPen
Glad to see that you raised such a fantastic huge amount of cash for your chosen charity Jen - i can't wait for the draw next week!
You are a good girl to do this
Penny
:P
P.S. sorry Georgie boy could'nt do the draw but he will be unavoidably busy that day, he's kinda tied up at the moment (in the cupboard under my stairs)
She is lovely Sandi,
I have one of Ruths fantastic tinies and i am blown away by the small detailed work - my bear came with a teeny packet of 'Maltesers'! I was gobsmacked that anyone could sew that small.
Penny
Your poor bear and collector
Having once done a short stint at a Royal Mail sorting office (many moons ago) i can confirm that 'Fragile' on a box can be like a red rag to a bull and some idiots (usually temporary agency staff) delight in kicking the bejeezers out of a package which is why i never write fragile on any parcel i send out Paula.
If this is any use to you........when i send out dolls in the post i cover their faces with clear plastic food containers to which i attach a piece of elastic to keep it in place. Maybe you could eat lots of taramasalata and use the pots for popping over the bears muzzles?
Some M&S food packaging pots have no print on them, are really rigid and when washed thoroughly don't give away their origins - this is'nt just packaging, it's M&S packaging

I hope nothing like this happens again Paula

Penny
They are wonderful :photo: photos of two very gorgeous people.....Corson is still a bit of a live-wire then?
Thanks so much for your email Bren - i have made a
note of your tip of rubbing 'Vicks' on Joshua's feet when he next has a bad cough and cold......you could just possibly have saved a few peoples sanity!!!!!!!
Love Ya,
PenPen
Throw me in the pool too WonkyWoo......i've taken part in every Christmas card swap to date so i'd better keep up the tradition!
PenPen
P.S. please send me lots of goodies with my cards, chocolate, perfume, silk knickers, a puppy etc etc
Hi All,
Thankee Kindly for the nice comments. It does my old crotchety heart good to hear that you enjoy the shows even if you do have to resort to general wickedness and tomfoolery on the chat forum to keep yourselves awake!
It was a really super successful show and i have now sent out emails to all BAO members and posted the Winter Warmer show statistics on the forum so you can see the amazing results. Woo Hoo, we surpassed the Summer show sales!

Penny
:P
P.S.
I have just got to tell you this...
After staying up for 24 hours solid running the show i was sorely looking forward to having the longest sleep of my life. So, i took myself off to bed as soon as i could after the show had finished and within a nanosecond i was away with fairies to the land of Nod - only to be woken at 2 am in the morning by the biggest bang since the creation of the universe! I looked out of my bedroom window to see a bunch of reprobates who had thrown chains around the original old cast aluminium red telephone box just across the road from my house and were proceeding to drag the whole damn thing off up the high street! Tyres smoking, wheels screeching and them yelling 'Yeehaaw' at the top of their lungs! We could hear them dragging this poor old telephone box for miles - you have never heard a sound like it!
Needless to say.............the police turned up.........blue flashing lights....................the highways department turned up, yellow flashing lights, noisy engine, wynching the bits and pieces onto the truck, loadsa noise...................excited chatter from the locals all gathered outside in their none-too fetching nighties for a gossip about the state of the world yadda yadda yadda
I finally got back to sleep at 4.40 am and i still have'nt caught up on my sleep!
After our conversation on the phone Jane i am still giggling and saying "O my God" - i just can't get over it
I just have one more thing to say........

Anyone else here think that our Sue-Ann looks fantastic? She is so attractive don't you think?
I always knew i hated her for a good reason!   (this is a Joke in case anyone thinks i'm an evil cow)
Fantastic profile you have there Sue-Ann, or should we call you Hottie Tottie now?
You all look like like you had a fab time - i have slipper envy, you all put my disgusting old flip-flops to shame
PenPen
She is just GORGEOUS Jen - you are a little angel for making her for Breast Cancer Care
Good Luck with the draw (BTW, i have mentioned it in in the General section in my post there, hope this is OK)
PenPen

HUGS, PENNY
Penny - I love your bear overboard
Thanks Melissa.........i just could'nt resist it. Poor old bear getting wet on Christmas morning!
Penny
Hi girls - yep, i think that eBay will be all the better for the change. I just checked out the Artists Bears category on eBay.co.uk and guess what? I can see the items listed on eBay.com too! Brilliant.
I know that not all US listings will show up because of the restriction rules but at least now i will be able to see most of them.
Good to hear from you all - long time no see!
Penny
TAMI YOU NEARLY KILLED ME WITH THAT
Sacred the Bejeezers outta me........................off to change my underwear
Penny
P.S. i can't believe this, but i went back to try it again and it still made me scream  I'm such a wally
About time too...thanks Penny...that's brilliant news!!!! Well done eBay..  at least they proved they can listen!
You're welcome Jen, bout time eBay changed this stupid ruling - i might actually start using it again now. I wonder if it was the amount of complaints that changed their minds or the drop in listings revenue????
hmmmm, i'm just an old cynic but i think it was probably the loss of revenue
Penny
I was just trawling through eBay (like you do when you're supposed to be working) and saw this announcement - i thought you all might be interested to read it. I know it has been a real pain that listings were no longer on both eBay.com and eBay.co.uk so i think this is good news don't you?
(if this has already been posted somewhere else here - SORRY )
Penny

Every day, more than four million people in the UK log on to eBay.co.uk, and this large number of potential British buyers plays a huge role in making our marketplace attractive for UK sellers.
We know that our sellers also value the ability to reach a global audience for their items. Earlier this year, we had to remove the free visibility that UK sellers had enjoyed for many years on eBay.com, because the sheer number of UK listings that were appearing there was making it difficult for American buyers to find American items.
Since then, we’ve been testing ways to enable relevant UK items to appear on eBay.com without undermining domestic American trade. We’ve run tests in a range of different categories, and using a range of different filters, to try to ensure that only items that appeal to American buyers will show up on eBay.com.
We’re going to widen the testing so that when you list an item on eBay.co.uk, it will also be listed automatically on eBay.com if:
The item is listed in the Antiques, Art, Coins, Collectables, Dolls & Bears, Pottery, Porcelain & Glass or Stamps categories
You offer PayPal as one of the payment options for the item (to ensure easy cross-border payments)
You specify the price of postage to the US (to make the total price clear to US buyers)
The item is located in the UK
Similarly, items listed on eBay.com in the same categories, and meeting the equivalent criteria, will appear on eBay.co.uk if their sellers meet an important additional restriction: sellers of items on eBay.com must have feedback of at least 100 and at least 98% positive for their items to appear on eBay.co.uk. We’ve added this extra qualifying criterion to ensure that the number of overseas listings does not overwhelm UK items. We’ll be testing the new criteria at least until the New Year.
Thanks for your support – and happy global selling!
Regards,
The eBay Team

I must say it's nice to be back, i will try to pop in to TT once a day and make some posts - just to keep in touch with you all.
I did get me garden patio finished Christine and this year the weather has been so bad we hardly had the chance to sit out there and enjoy it although when we did it was great - one of the paving slabs is named after a member here (Hi Eileen wherever you are)....we walk all over her

Marilyn - you can never trust a penguin, they hang about on the ice just waiting for an unsuspecting victim to come along and whack! they slap you round the back of the head and under you go.....murderous little gits
Brenda - thanks for the info, sounds like a smelly fiddly job (and toxic too i suspect). I will keep looking into it but if it's just gonna send me doolally i might just stick with Fimo.....i hate that too, why is nothing simple huh?
Hope i have'nt left anyone out, if i have sorry, i did'nt mean to
Penny
