I love this idea and your bear is perfect as always!
I know it's time to clean mine when I have no place to eat dinner, and can't get to the computer - my studio is also my living room, computer room and dining room :D
I suppose you keep yours pretty clean then!
Hi Tami
I too, have a dedicated room for my bearmaking activities. I know when it needs tidying...when my three little dogs cannot find enough space on the floor to lie down to go to sleep. It seems to be worse when I am working on a brand new pattern as I agonise over every aspect...
By the way, many congratulations on your nominations!!
Regards
Sue
Yes Sue! The dogs need a place to sleep. My cats like sleeping in a messy studio better. They enjoy laying on papers and inside open boxes!
You know it's time to clean your studio when...
You lose your 11 year old son in it!!
Here's my story http://insidemystudio.blogspot.com/
How about you all? How would you finish the sentence/
Wubbiebear I LOVE your song! It is so wonderful. It is so apparent that you love Teddy Bears and the story of your grandmother is great. I'm adding it to my favorite videos on you tube. (I like Teddy Bear songs!)
I love that cover Karen!!! Kitties and bears are my favorite animals!
Tami we certainly didn't buy our cover spot, it was an honour to our bears on the cover TB&F we could not have afforded to buy that spot for sure. I agree I don't think that spot should be up for being purchased, but then again I don't know if they need to raise more money or not. I need to follow up with them as well as I didn't receive my last issue of TBR.
hugs
A well deserved honor!!! The cover is wonderful!
I replied to the email and asked about the nominees. Lynn said that the list would be in the August issue but the nominees would be notified in a couple of weeks.
She also confirmed for me that one can indeed buy a spot on the front cover as the email seemed to indicate. Having a cover spot has always been a dream of mine, but I thought if it as an honor earned rather than a paid advertisement. I do understand the magazines wish to support their supporters as it were, but I found this news disappointing. It is a new development, isn't it? Those who've had cover bears in the past didn't have to buy the spot did they?
Tami, maybe we are the only entrants! Our chances should be pretty good then, right?
I am the same as you in that I only did GTs this time around because I missed the TOBY deadline
I just got an email from the advertising department of Teddy Bear Review saying it was "voting time" for GTs, and asking if I wanted to take out ad space in the magazine where the nominees would be posted. What nominees?

Krista, They seem to be later and later each year. The entries weren't due until February 15th this year...
I'm wondering too, Tami.

Can't wait for the next one! Oh wait! Yes I can! I've got to make more bears!
I am new so I have nothing to show. I wanted to say that I feel in love with puck and am a huge fan of the correct # of paws/paw pads! All of these bears on here are just wonderful! Great job everyone!
Thanks! I was taking a painting class from a professional wildlife artist about 14 years ago, and showed her one of my bears. She said, "He's lovely, Tami. But you know, bears have five toes, not four..." Since then my beras have had five toes!
I agree! Wonderful bears everyone! Keep them coming!!!
Oh these are great! Keep them coming!
He's very cute! The length of the fur nap can make a big difference in how chubby the bear looks. maybe that is what you are noticing. I love the name!
I love your animals!!! they are stunning!
WOW! Wonderful bears with wonderful faces! Are you sure didn't make bears in a past life or something? Fist ans second bears? wow!
He's great I love his fur and his nose!
He's just darling! What a pretty color! Will you please post him in this thread? http://www.teddy-talk.com/viewtopic.php?id=40332 I am trying to start a St. Paddy's Day Parade of green bears!

Katy you are not alone!! I'm always a ball of nerves before a show (although I always thoroughly enjoy myself once it starts) and surprisingly it was even true for the online show I am participating in this weekend! :o
Have a great show Katy!!!
Hello all! I recently made a green Teddy Bear thinking he was something unique. While green isn't a common color for bears I was surprised at how many artists made green bears for the Blooming Bear Show this weekend! With St. Patrick's Day approaching as well as spring, I thought it would be fun start a parade of green bears here on Teddy Talk.
So if you have a green bear please post his or her picture here. Artists post green bears you've made in the recent or even distant past. Collectors feel free to post green bears from your collections!
I'll start off with Puck
Congratulations! Your sweet whimsical creations are so nicely showcased!
Jane thank you so much for doing this! I look forward to it each year. Thanks for putting the time and energy into it. I hope your arm is feeling better.
