Oh my! Such great work
Carol & Becky, thank you so much for your lovely compliments
I too think he can be a little mischievous
Big hugs,
Here is my latest creation. He may be small at 2.5" tall but he has lots of love to give his new owner, hence the name Little Love. He comes housed in his own heart-shaped trinket box.

Hugs,
  Another fantastic creation....
He's fabulous! Love the eyes and the sculpting on the face. Really lovely looking bear
Hugs,
I only make minis and all are done entirely by hand, which seems to take forever. I've never even tried to use my sewing machine because the seam allowance is so small I'm not sure how much control I'd have or whether the stitches would be small enough. Edie, I take my hat off to you doing a 1" bear on the machine
For those of you who do use the machine for your minis, what size needle do you use? The one I hand-sew with is about 2.5cm long and is so fine I have trouble sometimes telling which end is which. The thought of using my machine is very appealing and would save so much time - I must average about 6 hours just stitching all the pieces together!
As I work full time too, I'm lucky if I can get one bear made in a week.
This thread has got me thinking....
Hugs,
Sweet little bear. Like his big ears
Yet another wonderful bear
The mohair is gorgeous and I like the way it curls by the eyes almost making him look like he has bushy eyebrows - very cute
Your noses are always perfection. I'm envious
Hugs,
Love that face Very sweet little boy
He's a great puppy and the fur looks wonderful!
I love his features and the dog collar is a nice finish
Hugs,
What a great looking bear, so full of character. Really makes you smile
Another superb bear    The way you pose them is just magical
They are fabulous! Ladies that do lunch......
Great trio... Can we all come for lunch too...?
Wow, such compliments indeed!
I'm blushing...
Seriously though, thank you for taking the time to comment. It's alway nice to get them as my husband can sometimes be more than a little biased
What a great little monkey! Definitely brings out the smile in you
Looking forward to seeing the pink monkey....
This is my latest rabbit which was ordered by an ex-colleague of mine up in Scotland. I'm still waiting for her to come back to me with a name, so at the moment she's just 'purple rabbit!'
She's about 4" tall, not including the ears.
This is only my 4th rabbit but I'm finding the ears much easier to wire with each one I do, though time-wise it doesn't get much quicker - not really sure how that works.... In fact the rabbits just take much longer to make, full stop. The eyes on this one took me nearly two hours! I totally lost track of all time only to realise how long I'd been sat concentrating cutting, glueing, stitching after my numb bum brought me back to reality!!!
Hugs,
As with all of our loved ones, it's the imperfections and the quirks that make someone special. If we were all perfect we'd be boring and I think this teddy is full of character.
I'm sure he's making your poorly friend smile lots.
Hugs,
Even more lovely comments....
This little guy is going off to live in Singapore - lucky little fellow!
Hot country for a hot little bear...
Wonderful little guy!
The fur is beautiful and the facial expression is just lovley
Hugs,
Thank you everyone for your lovely words. I think Cayenne might have found a home already, but I'm awaiting confirmation.
