Hi Jenny I can remember being a wise man at school my aunt made my costume it was so cool I felt very special (7 yrs old).I didn't have to wear a towel on my head like some f the other kids . My aunt couldn't get it to us on the day so I remember sitting on the side of the road outside our house waiting for the taxi to arrive that was bringing my costume to me and everyone thought it was lovely. A wonderful memory and your grand baby will have the same wonderful memory when she is all grown up. Love to see a photo she will be gorgoeus.
Hugs

I haven't counted mine lately but at the last count a couple of hundred or so they range from artist bears to manufactured what ever talks to me I have 5 display cabinets and a spare room with a double bunk bed covered in them and I love them all. Many have been gifts from friends and family I have lots of bear themed stuff too and now I make them as well. I have been collecting for a long time. My mum collects and so does my daughter and one of my sisters so I have rubbed off on all of them. I have no plans for stopping anytime soon.

My most comfy position is to sit on my couch with a pillow I bought from my physio behind me and a stable table on my knees no slipping ( and sometimes I even stretch my legs along the couch.) My Beagle Busta lays next to me and snoozes while I work. He keeps my legs very warm and I chatter away while I work to him (I know he's listening his ears are twitching but his eyes are closed lol)

I am sorry to hear this too Vicki. I can't understand how people can do this but unfortunately there are some bottom feeders out there who will take advantage of any opportunity. I am glad that you and your family are safe and didn't walk in on them and that your lovely pets are Ok too.

This is a day that no-one should ever forget it happened in New York but it changed the world. It doesn't seem like 7 years , feels like yesterday. Like the saying goes life goes on, but its different. My heart weeps for all those lost souls and their families. In Australia and New Zealand we have a saying for our heros lost in war "lest we forget".

I had a look too and you have done a lovely job and all the pictures of your bears are great. Congratulations.

Hi Jane
I have seen Elton perform from way back in the 70's with his chicken suit to playing with the Melbourne Philamonic Orchestra in his Beethoven wig outfit just fantastic he is the best his music I identify with through many periods of my life. Enjoy!!

I let them stay with me until the next one is finished and then try and find a new home just to enjoy them for a little bit then I give all mine a kiss and a cuddle before they are off into the big bad world. I stress more waiting to hear from the collector that they have arrived safely and when they are so happy with them I am absolutely thrilled.

Hello Yvonne
What gorgeous bears they are all lovely but I would like to say that my favourite part of your bears (not counting their lovely faces) is their beautiful paw pads they are fantastic.
Hope you have a great show I am so jealous I want to go to hugglets just to see all the bears. LOL

I was a much older first time mum and had some problems toward the end so at 36 weeks I was in hospital trying to get the diabetes under control and found I had a liver blockage that was harming my baby and she may not reach term so we tried everything for 4 days trying to induce labour nothing by then I was frantic so I opted for a C section because of the risk to her. I was awake and my husband was there for the birth and she was beautiful how lucky was I.
My advise "just do what you have to do"
Best of luck
