Impressive
Laurie of Laurie Lou bear and I decided to do a swap after the disappointment of the teddy talk fall swap falling through. I am happy to report that the bear I made for Laurie who I named Simon arrived today safe and sound. I wanted to share photos with you of Simon and his friend. Here they are. After hearing about Simon's arrival, I rushed home to find I had my own package waiting. I will let Laurie show you photos of my little Barnaby! This was my very first swap and I really enjoyed it. Thanks Laurie for all your kindness and for the sweet little bear you sent.

I want to kiss them on the tops of their little heads. This is adorable.
I do really like Bearpile, but have yet to sell anything on it, so the increase for me it difficult. I think I'll try and hold out until I have a bunch to list.
Thanks everyone

I was posting my bears on bearpile all summer. None sold off of the site so I decided to let my membership expire until it got closer to Christmas. Now I see that it's $5 more expensive per month that it used to be! I think I'll wait until I have something new to list so it goes on the front page. I was a bit disappointed. When did this happen?

edited due to my incompetent math skills....grrrr
Ebay is not good for artists right now. I think your little one was priced very fairly. Have you tried Bearpile? I know an artist who lists on ebay just to keep her name out there, but very rarely sells anything on ebay. She also posts on bearpile and I think has better luck. I have a bear of hers and he is a dream, so I really think it's a difficult time on ebay for many artists. You could also try Etsy, they are very inexpensive, but I haven't had any luck on Etsy. Good luck!
Horray! I am so happy that everything is working out. I have been thinking of cooper and was hoping that things were going better. Thanks for the update and all the great photos! You are all three adorable!

too cute for words! Your work is amazing!
He is Phenomenal. I'm always amazed with your work, I would love to enter the realm of realistic bears, but just don't think I have what it takes. Incredible! I looked at his ebay auction and you are a master poser, so many cute photos!!
He's lovely. I love his expression, he reminds me of a very serious child. I love his color, or lack thereof, I have a soft spot for white bears!
Congratulations everyone! We have some really talented artists on this board!
So funny. I love the little tiny kitten in the BIG BED while the dog sleeps on the floor.
Cooper is just cute as a button, both with and without all his hair! Thanks for sharing the photos. Your Westie is ADORABLE as well!
Horray!!! How very exciting. Congratulations.
He is really cute! I love photo of him looking at his paw!
Just wanted to add that my mom's dog is VERY well trained in the house (he's a Schnauzer also). He NEVER has a potty accident in our home, however, when he is really nervous, as he gets when we have to take him to someone else's house (or to the veterinarian), he always has to poop and if we don't get to it in time then we have a little present to pick up.
Second piece of advice. I've been told that you have to catch the dog in the act in order for a correction to be effective. If you come home and there is a poop pile on the floor, I've been told many times, it only does harm to scold the dog at that point in time as they will not associate it with the act of going to the bathroom in the house. I certainly noticed this to be the case with my dog. While I had a really hard time not saying anything to her when I didn't see her have the accident, I noticed that when I was extra vigilant and caught her "in the act", she learned fairly quickly.
Edited To Add: Just realized that US Bear said the very thing. Sorry I didn't read the posts more carefully!
Good luck! I think it's fairly common to deal with a few potty issues even with a dog who was house trained, when something so dramatic has happened in their lives!

She is really cute. You should be proud!
I love them both! I too have a individual swap friend. We both wanted to do the fall swap, but it was canceled. I'm still working on the little guy. Things got pretty busy. I will be sure to post photos once our swap has taken place!

Love him. His sweater is so cute!!
So cute! I love each and everyone! Have a wonderful time!
Super cute! I adore your little critters!
Beautiful, what did you think of the fabric?
All three are just super cute! Your bears have great expressions, I just want to hug them through the screen.
They are all just cute as a button!
Awwwww....that's all I could say when I saw this!
