Teddy Talk: Creating, Collecting, Connecting

Oh now come on ladies, not everything can always be white bread middle of the road, niceie nice. An opinion now and then is refreshing. Not the usual "oh how sweet, I just love it". Gemma, you have a great idea, we all could voice our real views and preferences and by the way, Art Rodgers is my favorite Artist, Jen Murphy too.
Now, I hope I did not offend the other 1,000 teddy bear makers and artists out there!

It has been a few years since I've used these and I am not sure about the size and that rachet tool to do them with.
For a 12 inch bear what is a good size? and a good place to get them?
Also I want to add, that after several years of being in a creative funk I finally feel excited again about making my teddy bears. I'll post more on the subject as soon as I gather my thoughts on the matter, right now I just love    that I feel excited and look forward to that wonderful creative feeling returning to me.
I hope this dosn't sound silly   but even if it does that's the risk you have to take.

hello, I am working on my web page still,    I need some help/advice on the way people get the "word out" about their wonderful bears? it has been a while for me, and I'm not so sure anymore, things are a bit different on the net these days.
I thought about exchanging links (Thanks Go to Bed Bears ) but that dosn't seem to be what people do now or a least the majority. Well anyway Help Please.

I am working on my new links page on my new website. It will be teddy-folk.com.
If anyone would like to exchange links with me   I would be thrilled 
My other website odddotty.com will become teddy-folk.com. Why you ask?
I used to be teddyfolk.com but I forgot to renew and a nonenity snitched my domain name.
So then I changed to ohsillyme because I thought that sounded good, but it didn't fit, so I changed to odddotty
because I am odd at times, but not all the time (odd is a tough thing to live up to)
So then i decided to go back to teddy folk, because it is good and mine however I changed the domain name to teddy-folk.com insted of teddyfolk.com (notice the hyphen)
That's my story and I am sticking to it!

I've stayed at several places in Nevada City and Grass Valley, the Outside in is my favorite! I have already booked my room for next year. Also Ike's Quarter cafe is a great place for breakfast, just down the road from the Inn.

Thanks for the welcome back! I was thinking my signature thingie was a bit long? Is that a regular length or am i going a overboard in my words? I am going to make more, bears really I am. One at a time with great happiness and all. I didn't add one thing to my bio. You see, when I walk my dogs at night in my local park (I swing on the swings)   yeah well, I love it! and I have'nt broken the swing or anything like that. They are quite sturdy. It's dark in that part of the park, lovely dark and quiet.
Now you all know my secret.

Hi Judi, I'm new to this list, so I don't think you know me, however I will be at show as a teddy bear artist type person    I live in San Diego and have attended this show since 1990, as a collector and artist.
I would look forward to meeting all, maybe Intercal could host a message board where we could post notes on our whereabout at the show.
