Thanks a ton for this!
Thanks so much. I was thinking that might work, but was slightly afraid to try!
Hello!
Completely by chance, my latest bear seems to have a mustache!!! Of course I worked with that, because when opportunity knocks, why not?! I am wondering, does anyone have any tips for keeping the mohair going in a direction permanently? Would watering it down and then drying it in that position work?.
Hello!
Just wondering where everyone gets the wooden tags made? Are they expensive?
I've also looked into finding a spot I can have a certificate, or little card made up that I can then write on, but still unsure. Any tips on spots you can get them made?
Thanks a lot for the info. I think I'll move into painting too. Just not happy with the markers at all.
Hello
I am fairly new but curious about copic airbrushing with markers. I have the prisma pens with a blender... is copic better to use? How is this done? I've tried blending with my prisma pen but made a horrible mess. Is there anyone that can weigh in on this and possibly provide a tutorial? Does the blender pen go on before, or after? I'm so lost. Hoping for help.
Hello,
I am looking for a pattern like one of the ones featured in the photo I uploaded
I am wondering if anyone may have something similar they were able to share, or direct me even to a spot I can locate something similar?
Thank you
Ha! How ironic, all I am getting is circular shapes, and I just want a triangle!!!
Thank you for your info. I will try alternate fabrics.
Thanks so much, this is perfect.
Hello
I am trying to design my own head, using Ted Menten's book. The thing is, I want to have a longish pointy snout, and a wide triangular head. Very old style, like the bear on the front of the Nov 2011 issue of Teddy bear and friends (featuring Andrew John's Bear). I just can't seem to do it. I'm so freakin' confused. How wide can I go? How wide do I need to go? When I test it, if I test it on fake fur, I won't get the same result as on mohair. If I try on mohair and it doesn't work, I'm out significant money. I just don't know what to do, because I love that wide look, and I can't get it. SO frustrating.
Any advice at all is appreciated.
Thank you
Diane
Hello,
Did you say you sew it together first, and THEN dart it? Or dart it first, and then sew the gusset and head pieces?
Thank you
Hello
I am trying wobble joints for the first time. I've checked this site, Edinburgh, searches, but I am still confused. Can someone help me answer this question?
Do you need 2 metal washers, or 4? Because why would you not use 4?
Can anyone provide an absolutely amazing photo tutorial? I'd sure appreciate it.
