Blonde female driver lead footing it down the highway, is pulled over by a blonde female traffic cop.
The cop says "you were exceeding the speed limit, show me your licence."
The driver begins rummaging around in her handbag and getting increasingly exasparated, asks "what does it look like?
Cop replies "it's about this big with your picture on it."
The driver spots her vanity mirror in the bottom of her bag, pulls it out, looks at it, hands it to the cop "is this it?"
The cop looks at it, then says "so sorry, didn't realise you were a cop, on your way."

Hi Matilda,
Pemberton and Cape Leewin are very pretty spots indeed.
What I love most in the West, are the beaches around Albany. You can walk along Cheynes beach for forty odd miles and not see a soul ... heavenly
But, then I know there are just as many beautiful places in USA. I have seen many pictures of the Teton Range in Wyoming and that looks magnificent, particularly in the spring with all the wildflowers.
Maybe we'll get some :photo: :photo: :photo: from Renae and Kassie.
Now that would be nice!

One morning at a doctors surgery a patient arrives complaining of serious back-pain. The doctor examines him and asks him" OK, what happened to your back?"
The patient replies "You know that I work for a local night club?
This morning I got home to my apartment early and heard a noise in my bedroom. On entering I knew someone had been with my wife and the balcony door was open. I rushed out the balcony door and did not find anyone. As I looked down from the balcony I saw a man running out and he was dressing himself. I grabbed the fridge and threw it at him, that's how I strained my back"
A 2nd patient arrives looking as if he has been in a car wreck. The doctor said "My previous patient looked bad, but you look terrible. That the hell happened to you?"
He replied, "You know I have been unemployed for a while now. Today was the first day at my new job. I forgot to set my alarm and was running late. I was running out of the building, getting dressed at the same time, and you won't believe it but I was hit by a fridge."
And then a 3rd patient arrives, he looks even worse than the other two patients do. The doctor is shocked. He asks the patient, "What the hell happened to youuuuuu.....?"
The patient replied "Well I was sitting in a fridge and some silly bugger threw it from the 3rd floor".
Oh Tammy...I remember my first Intercal order...I could hardly wait for it to arrive and was thrilled when it did. Sometimes I find myself just feeling the mohair for no other reason but because I can.
Oh boy, I know that feeling only too well Shantell...I'm like a kid with a new toy.
Tammy, the feeling I get from receiving parcels from Intercal is a mixture of warmth, happiness and excitement. I'm not just speaking of the first time...it's like Christmas every time for me! Then I can't wait to start the next project!
Enjoy it, these sorts of feelings don't come round too often...not unless you order mohair every week!

This is what I propose to do when I come to TT and this is said without malice:
I will read posts that are:
1. Positive
2. Fun
3. Informative - teddy related
If the topic is interesting or funny - I will post my two cents worth.
Otherwise - I will obstain.
I will look at teddy posts in:
1. Showcase
2. Teddy & Friends
3. Challenge Gallery
If I particularly like what I see - I will post a favourable comment
Otherwise - I will say nothing, this doesn't necessarily mean I don't like the ones I don't make a comment on either.
I will continue to post my bears and have the courtesy to reply to everyone who comments...even if it's only to say "thank you".
I like to try new ideas, but don't like to copy. I like to learn new skills, but what works well for someone else, doesn't always work for me. (I did the leather eyelid biz the other day and what a disaster! But at least I can say I had a go.)
I learned a long time ago
So I guess that's why I do my own thing and make bears first and formost to please myself and satisfy my creative needs.
BIG HUGS TO EVERYONE,
Sandi
P.S. Forgot to mention...I like to see and know a little about who I'm talking to.
Hi Judi,
I liked all the verses and I think there is something there for all of us...but if I have to pick...No 5...I'm a great believer in positive thinking.
If you compare yourself with others,
you may become vain or bitter,
for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself.
Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans.
Keep interested in your own career, however humble;
it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time.
However, Renae reminded me of something. A long time ago, I received a hand written verse from a dear friend. It was a time in my life when I was feeling full of self doubt and less worthy than my peers. It changed my way of thinking completely.
Hugs,
Sandi
Hi Irene,
Just built my new site on freewebs...gone to premium and am very happy.

Trust you Paula!
To post this after I've already posted Rupert...
Now, I'll have to start all over again!
Oh wo is me...as if I haven't got enough to do!
Great idea for those who do contempory bears though...sometimes it's a stretch just to do something simple.
Six week deadline is probably enough...you don't want people to loose interest.
