Teddy Talk: Creating, Collecting, Connecting

Yes, they talk, and I mean talk.
Especially when you are on the phone, I always have to leave the room, otherwise it is impossible to hear the conversation on the other end.
And the Vacuum Cleaner, I dont know what it is with the Vacuum Cleaner, they both scream their Heads off, sing and brubble when its running.
The Grey one`s name is Einstein, and he does his Name justice. I teach him tricks, he dont need long to learn.
He can do a puzzle, put his Toys in a Basket, plays Basketball, ( one made especially for Birds ) Plays a toy piano, put Mail in a little Mailbox, well, this post is not long enough to list it all.
( I am showing off with him, he is my Baby ) I even got him a tiny Teddy, a tiny Bed and Blanket, and teached him to cover up his Teddy with the Blanket after he gave him a kiss

I even teached him to poop BEFORE he comes to me on the Sofa
The yellow headed Amazon dont talk that much and he is more bonded to my Husband, but he sings soo cute.
If you like to buy a Bird, I recommend an African Grey, they are a joy to have around.

This are MY Babies,
No Dogs or Cats,  just loving Birds. They talk to me and yell at me, but I love them to Death and spoil them rotten.

The Grey one is an African Grey ( Congo ), the other one is an double yellow headed Amazon

I been trying to figure this one out since Years, and that is also the reason why am I doing constantly new Patterns, thinking, this is the one!
Well, I still did not found "the One" and now I am giving up trying to make time consuming, and constantly new Patterns,

Now I am making the Teddies I like, and if I dont sell them, I have the largest Bear Collection on the Planet, but, when I look at them, I feel good about what I made

do the oilpaints have to be heatset?
I used to paint pictures and it takes a very long time for the oilpaints to dry on the canvas.
How is it on the Mohair?
I have an Artist Set of the oilpaints, but I was not sure if it smears when someone touch the Bear, or how long it needs to dry

My shading around the Bears eyes really getting to me,
I just cannot get the hang of it.
I tried the copic markers, it looks painted on, even with the blender.
I have a really expensive Airbrushing kit, BUT, I either do to much, or not enough, it`s either too dark, too light, I am ready to pull my Hair out!!!
After weeks of trying it, you should think that I have the hang of it.?!

I see some Bears they have really dark circles of shading around their Bears eyes and noses, and it looks nice and natural, if I do it, it looks like a comical mask

I really never thought that my Bears could be identyfied as "Black Forest Bears"

I try and try to do something "original", sometimes I have 10 different Heads made, and to me, they all look like the same old, plain ordinary bears you can find everywhere else.
Maybe someday a lightbulb goes off in my Head, and I do create something different and original

I made sooo many Bears in the last Years, and  I still did not find my "Look" yet.
Maybe I am changing my designs too often, or, could anybody , looking at my Bears, tell that this is "one of those Black Forest Bears".?

My Heart goes out for those poor Victims, and my part of helping is, I am taking one Family into my Home til they get back on their Feet.

I donated Money to the 9/11 Victims, BUT,  the News came out that MOST of the Donation Money just dissapeared into alot of "scammers" pockets and the Victims never got a penny

I was just reading this post about the Canadians beeing "Cheap",
Well, I tell you, you never been, or heard about the Cheapskates in South Carolina!!
These Folks are cheaper than cheap, they are Walmart, Fleamarkt, yardsale or consignement Store Shoppers.
I had once a Yardsale and try to sell a WHOLE Set of German Stainless Steel Knifes with Cutting Board and Knife Sharpener, the set was still in its original packaging, the original price was $59.00, (price tag still on it), I wanted only $ 20.00 for it.
Well, there came a complete Nut and had the Nerv to say: I give you $ 1.00, BUT I want to test them first if they are sharp!!!!
He got me soo ticked off, that I told him to go where the moon shines and I drive over the set with my truck first before I sell it to YOU for a lousy buck, you @@@#@@
The same thing happened to Original packed, brandnew Adora Outfits.
A Lady came, offered me $ 0.50 a piece, AND she wanted a discount when she bought more than one!! ( I paid $ 13.00 each )

This is the majority of how the people are here in South Carolina, they want it free, and possible delivered too.

A Bear Show in the South is unthinkable, they would not dream of paying a fair price.

I talked to Show Promoters, and NONE even spend a minute to think about doing a Show here, they all tried years ago, and they  never came back

I am kind of worried to use anykind of steel shot in Bears.
I think after a while, they will show "rust" through the Material?
Even when used in a seperate Bag?

My favorite weights for the Bears are glass beads

I NEED to go on a Diet, has anyone some good ones?
Please dont suggest  exercise, that is what got me fat in the first place!!
After each exercise, I got soo hungry and the Fridge was my Place to go for the next 15 Minutes.

I also dont want to cook, opening a can, making a Sandwich, or stuffing the Microwave is all the cooking I do in my House

Sales at Shows are down too, hopefully it will get better towards the Holidays, or I have the biggest "Black Forest Bears" Collection on the Planet
