Congratulations Berta.
What a wonderful surprise and thank you for sharing with us!!!!!
I've seen something similar on bearpile before. I was contacted with a stolen credit card from some poor US citizen whose ID had been stolen.
. I ended up Contacting the credit card company to try to cancel the card for the poor person.

Hello Millie,
Funny you should post this about the alpaca, I just purchased some and have the same problems. I gave up and decided to tackle the merino instead. I posted my little bear on teddy talk. Her name is "Pretty Penny".
Hello,
At the few fairs and craft fairs that I have attended, I have always asked for a deposit and taken the bear off the table. Usually it's my repeat customers So I know that I'm sure to make a sale. I guess I've been lucky.
Hi,
This is Penney. and I thought I would add my two cents!!!!! (just a small pun)
I'm English too. Although I live here in the US.
Last year was my first year of competing.. I entered into the BBAA and got nominated, the Ted Worldwide and the Ursa Awards and got nominated So it is possible to enter and be successful in the competitions outside of the US.
AS for the Ted Worldwide competition, I was lucky to have Euros around and I was able to submit that with my application. But a credit card or paypal would make it far easier.
Hello Jennie,
I have never used fray check with upholstery vintage fabric for my miniatures. Plus just like everone has said use small stitches, try using invisible thread also.
Good luck and please post your bear when you have completed the little one.
Here is my daughters 1st attempt at a needle felted bear. She was home sick for the day and decided she would try her hand at needlefelting. For her 1st attempt I was very impressed.
I told her we could see if she could get adopted and she could start saving for her car. By the way shes only just turned 14.
Here are some pics!!
O'h I'm so excited that you have all posted info on an open mouth bear. My last two attempts have been frustrating. I finally get it!!! and I've taken notes. I have been looking all over teddy bear forums to find the info...duh!!
I've tackled my first project this year, needle felting and got my daughter addicted to it and came home to find out she had made an naime needle felted bear today. (I'll have to post it this weekend on needle felting) And the second was an open mouthed bear.
Thank you ladies for all your pictures and suggestions.
It;s truly amazing how many talented artists there are out there. You are surely all winners and thank you for sharing.
Maria, It was truly wonderful to see you final pieces. Not at all what I pictured but they surpassed my imagination and are fabulous.
CONGRATULATONS to all of you.
Would love to see all the pictures of the entries!!
Wishing you all the best.
Just simply PRECIOUS and how they make you smile!!!
Maria from Puca Bears was kind enough to scan me my article in the Animal Crackers section of the Feb Issue of Teddy Bear Scene.
Thank you again, we are off to a good New Year.
