I consider my self tough not a big softie, or so I thought. We already have 3 dogs, two cats four horses,
eight chickens, one duck, one cockatiel so I put my foot down about another dog when my daughter asked for another puppy last week.
Sunday on the way home from a favorite fishing hole there was a dog tied to a road marker on the highway. I mean right on the highway not two feet from the traffic. I yelled
Stop!!
So my husband pulled off the highway with the boat and went to check the dog. She was tied with a piece of hay bailing twine and nothing else. Poor baby he cut her loose and she ran straight across the road to me. I opened the truck door and said load up, she jumped in climbed in to the back seat just shaking. I gave her water that we had she was so dehydrated and so thin.
It was sunday so the next day I called the animal shelter to report her found and they told me she was probably abandoned that way. I can not believe that someone would just do such a horrible thing.
She is a lovely dog a black and white border collie. looks to be purebred, wonder ful markings and more well mannered than all our other dogs ( who are like everything else spoiled and demanding including the horses)
So I could not imagine traumatizing such a sweet dog more, I left a notice and number with them should any one call looking for her. But We are keeping her unless someone steps forward. We named her Hannah, after a previously well loved dog.
I will try to post a picture of her tonight.
He is terrific and what a wonderful idea giving him a teddy!!!
Teddy Bears can definitely wait while you enjoy the hugs and loves from those cuties for a while. Soon enough they are on their way!!
They are so precious, love those golden locks and sweet smiles.
I finally had a chance to take some photos of my little panda. I have been so busy I haven't had time to get out the photo shoot.
Here she is, this is only the second Panda I have ever made, but I like her so much there are definately more in the future!!!
She is just 2 3/4 inches

Woo HOO doing the happy dance for you here!! nice job and such a sweet bear too!!
For just your third bear I would say you are well on your way she is great!! ![]()
What a sweet bear face and so girly cute!!
You are amazing!! Your art is so incredible it continually just blows me away!!
What great pictures, and so nice to see a picture of your dad!!
lovely!!

Very Lovely!!
You have done a great job! she really has a very sweet look and I love the embroidered foot.
I think that the straight mohair gives that antique look after the distressing i.e. sand paper and staining. It helps too if you use wool for the foot pads to give that authentic aged look.
Wee scones are a great example, Her work , Boot button bears really have captured that vintage, antique bear look really well. They are some great resources you could ask.
That is so funny,
My daughters have a funny little thing they do. When someone says something really stupid they write down the conversation so we can laugh about it later.
the latest:
Codie to Kami: You're a loser ( haha)
Kami: You're retarded
codie: No I'm not!
Kami: Some days!
codie: Not today! At least I haven't done anything retarded yet today!
Kami: It's still early!
codie : Yeah you're right!
( That is how I feel too somedays, well at least I haven't done anything retarded yet today)
yEP! We love it when the cactus blooms!! They are special and beautiful and fragile. My favorite flower is a desert flower the Sego Lily. Let me see if I can find a picture.
I love your Cactus beautiful and looks like you have more blooms waiting to open.
You have done a wonderful job on him, He does look very sweet.
Yeah a challenge!!
Wooo HHOOO for MJ! nice job, that is really cool!
Thanks guys, I took the pre employment testing.. I am not sure how well I did I was really nervous. so keep those fingers crossed.
I have all the qualifications for that job. I am certified both medical coder and insurance specialists. Plus I have years of experience.
I have been looking for a new job and put in an application for a county job. I had the interview this morning, got a call from another great job that applied for as well. As soon as I got home I got a call back for testing on the first job with the county. That is the job I really want, one that is going to last forever, not get cutback or laid off when the Doctor decides to slow down or worse retire. I have taken a $400 a month paycut because the Doctor doesn't want to work full time. Well I doo!!!!
So please cross your fingers and say a prayer for me! I really would like this new job.
Thanks, Kathy!!
again amazed!!!
How wonderful!! Congrats to Annalise and her very proud mum!!
I know fairies and those shoes will be on some fairy feet and dancing as your daughter sleeps. beautiful work and so imaginative.
Your tiny work is really wonderful, I love that tiny penguin. All your critter are adorable.
Don't do it, you paid for the insurance make her file a claim. I have had this happen with antique glass coffee pots that I collect and sell. Do not give a refund, that is what the insurance is for. make her file the claim if that is what she is after, be as nice as you can but stick to the insurance claim. If you mailed it in great condition and you packed it properly that means either she is crooked ( assuming from her initial emails) or the post damaged it and it is thier responsibility. I had one send me a damaged package obvioulsy from the post, I returned it the seller filed the claim kept my payment and the insurance and never refunded my money.
As they said put the monkey on her back. Just be really nice about it politely tell her it is your policy that she file the claim with the Post because the damage happened after it left your hands and that is what the insurance is purchased .
hUGS, KATHY
