Eliza don't be discouraged.I really feel that more and more people not using e Bay.I have heard too many stories of hijacking sites,scams,fraud etc. and I think people are nervous.Your bears are wonderful!Hopefully you can find another venue.Chin up! Sincerely Jane D.

Patsy-I too had been suffering the same pain in my right arm and shoulder since November-even on my trip to Florida for 5 weeks.Couldn't dress -nearly faint trying to do up my bra,couldn't comb or curl the back of my hair.Tried Ibuprophen, Alleve, Tylenol-you name it!!Couldn't sleep, knit or make bears.I figured it was from overuse of the arm.I went to my Doctor finally and he gave me a shot of cortisone in the jointwhere my arm joins the shoulder.Instant relief!!He told me to get Glucosamine and take 3x per day.I have not had a twinge of pain in 3 weeks and can do up my bra in record time.(Do you suppose that's important )Anyway I feel terrific and wish I'd gone in sooner.Maybe you could check with your Doctor about this???I will pray for your recovery because I truly know what it feels like. :pray: Sincerely Jane D.

Hello everyone! I got my Face Book yesterday.I was so excited to see and recognize teddies from all the different TT's.It makes me feel as if I know everyone personally now!!I'm sure you are all as handsome and gorgeous as your bears.I feel famous now too! Hope everyone gets their's soon.It's hard waiting!

Oh Aleta-does this mean you will never sell me a bear?? I bought a bear from Oz Matilda for Christmas(For myself of course!!!!LOL!) It cost $127.50 to have it shippedEXPRESS to Canada. We tracked it and it reached LA overnight and then took a further 3and1/2 weeks to get to my door-that is EXPRESS ladies and gentlemen!From Australia to Canada.I was "told" that it gets held up in BC.Why???Well no one knows the answer to that one!

Looking forward to meeting you and I didn't realize that someone is aTT from Collingwood.Maybe if they see this they could pm me or you could.I have good friends in Collingwood.You will enjoy meeting Gail too.She is a great person and lots of help and encouragement.I will be doing June in Niagara Falls and November in Toronto.I went for a walk this morning and had to give up-too much slipping and sliding in my boots.They felt so heavy after 5 weeks in sandals on the beautiful beach!!!

Hello everyone-I've just returned from 5 weeks in Daytona Beach to 4 feet of snow and temperatures of -25C this morning.I'm trying to catch up with all the TT news.I've done Hug-Ins and TBOV for about 5 years now and have labelled my bears correctly and followed tssa standards.No one has ever approached me at a show but believe it or not an inspector came to my door and asked to see a bear that I would be taking to the next show.She also asked me if I knew anyone else who made bears that lived nearby.I was floored! So I behave myself at all times.Andrea I do the Xmas show and hubby drives me.We leave about 7:00am and have a nice dinner afterward.We could drive all the way to Warminster from Midland and pick you up.It would take us about 25 whole extra minutes. Be happy to do it if you decide to go.

Wow! Stories like this give me goosebumps!The internet sure makes the world a smaller place.I love to see and hear from people here on TT from around the world.There are so many times that, at first thought , the internet is scary-hackers, [INVALID] etc.but then I remember the good it does as well and the enjoyment that I get from it.Without it that man would likely never have gotten his wallet back because he wouldn't have been located.What a lot of memories will have been unfolded.Thanks Debbie for the great story.

That sounds like quite an effort-80 bears!Someone suggested to me that I try something like this at Xmas-"Christmas with the Bears"My husband has antiques for sale and they are here in our home but no one really "knows"that we do this.Our town is not large but no one seems to be interested in artist bears.There are other parts of Ontario where there is a great following and lots of fun but it's very minimal in my area.(Unless Andrea wants to do this with me!!!LOL! )We thought we could arrange the bears atop the antique furniture-which is where they are now.As soon as I figure out how to send pictures, I will send some.I usually go to Teddy Bears on Vacation for the Xmas show but competition there is really stiff so perhaps on my own (or with Andrea!!LOL! again!)it might work better.My confidence is very low right now though.

She did the same for me-set me up with another avatar-post holiday.Thank you so much Jane.I am working on learning these computer skills as my New Year's resolution.I am just thrilled to be able to upload the avatar that she designed for me. :dance: It's a start!

Best wishes for a Happy New Year to all.It seems that the New Year coming affects us all in different ways and often brings a sadness to it for some as well as the plans for new goals and achievements for others.Have faith articicle.My thoughts are with you.Personally I seriously need to lose weight.I have some health concerns now due to having had part of my heart radiated along with my tumour a few years back.I never should have let these pounds creep on.Strangely enough though instead of scaring me into action,at this point I'm feeling sorry for myself and eating more junk than ever! :doh: I really want to learn how to send in pictures of my bears and create avatars etc. I am truly technologically challenged!So i've lots to get motivated about as you can see!Stay safe everyone wherever you are in the world today! Hello everyone.I received my first card yesterday from Ellen in New York state.She supports the Animals Asia foundation.The card is beautiful-showing three scenes of bears frolicking-free from cruelty and pain.Thank you Ellen! God bless those who work so hard to free these beautiful creatures! I have enjoyed sending cards but will not be able to take part in Valentine's Day exchange as I will be on vacation in Florida for a month.Is anyone out there near Daytona Beach?I'd love to meet up for a visit with some TT's.You could come and join me at the beach.We stay right on the ocean.Let me know and thanks again Ellen.

Hello to all-I haven't received any cards yet from the Swap but I did get a cute card from Andrea M who lives only about 25 minutes away from me.Thanks for that.It was so sweet of you.I hope we can get together for a visit in the New Year.I also had a lovely pm from Nancy in Calgary who got a card from me.Fun! Fun! However I must say that Canadian mail is slow because I mailed mine out on Dec.3 and Nancy only got hers yesterday-that seems so long to get to Calgary.I'm looking forward to getting my cards.I practically knock the mailman over as he comes up the sidewalk. Thank you Shelli for this wonderful idea and all the work that went into the organizing of it.

I hope everyone is recovering from such a shock, and at this time of year too! The weather all over the world is so unsettled now compared to when I was a child and tornadoes are a result of this.I think they can happen anywhere these days.Keep safe everyone! Fredbear is right!
