APPLE CRUMBLE HAS BEEN ADOPTED. THANK YOU FOR STOPPING BY
So does that mean she's not available to just anybody who'd like to adopt her.....? Gee I wonder who I could be referring to
Thanks Pink Glad you like the site, the coming soon creations are certainly interesting, one in particular lol.
Thank you! He's got many brothers and sisters on their way to this new collection too - and when I say many I mean many lol. The next ones will be slightly different though but still Apple Crumble's family!
Thank you Becky, I love his furry feet too
I do that with the ears too! I cut them out, sew them, then they're usually too big in which case I can just cut some length off, but when they're too small I feel like shouting lol. I think I do that for nearly every bear!
I can live with accidentally going wrong with scrap pieces but when I have a really expensive "one and only" 1/4m and know exactly what I want to do with it, then make a mistake, I feel like throwing the bear making in a corner and going and sulking
At least I am not alone!
I am working on a realistic bear now, a polar bear, and he is somewhere between a teddy and a realistic bear but I designed the pattern this way so that he would look good sitting up like a teddy but still be shaped like a polar bear. You could try making him somewhere between the two for your first go and that way you'll have achieved a bit of both worlds lol. I'm thoroughly enjoying making this realistic bear, I love making all bears but making this one has just made me so HAPPY! Don't know why. Maybe this is the style I'm meant to learn about most and stick with. We'll see.
Best of luck with your bear Frances and be sure to share pics when he's finito
I also posted about your giveaway on my blog http://gjoyfulbears.blogspot.com/ and followed your blog. Only did this AFTER commenting on your blog because I only just set up a blog 2 days ago lol. But your giveaway is there, just letting you know

I wonder how they get sales in the first place then if they don't even communicate with customers who speak english lol. Makes you wonder.
Thank you both! Glad you like my blog Pink I only created it two days ago lol. My website has been around longer and has more on it
Well done Kim, one pic down quite a few to go lol. Don't worry about their "choice words" ha ha, they're in the wrong not you. The problem is not just them pinching artist bear pics though, it's them scamming so many innocent people...... If everyone who knew about this emailed them and kept going I think they'd be forced to stop at least for a while. I mean if hundreds of people "grumped" at them lol.
Gorgeous
Hi everyone,
Just letting everyone know I will have a new bear available for immediate adoption on Friday, this Friday, the 18.11.2011 Australian Daylight Saving time. The bear that will be available is called Apple Crumble and he is 6" tall standing. He is designed and hand-sewn entirely by me, Gabriele of GJOYful Bears - these are all the details I can reveal until Friday.
You can see more preview photos of Apple Crumble on my blog:
http://gjoyfulbears.blogspot.com/
He will be exclusively available from my site and my blog on Friday, he will not be listed on Bear Pile like most of my bears. He is a new bear and the first to be listed on my brand new blog. He is also the first in my new Collection, the "Bear Big Wish Collection." Here is two preview photos of Apple Crumble:
Hope you visit my blog/site and enjoy his preview, and maybe I will hear from you about offering Apple Crumble a new home! Thanks for looking
Bear hugs
Gabriele & Apple Crumble
Some people just need to find another hobby lol. They should try making bears then maybe they'd have more respect for those that put in weeks to get one bear. It's just so annoying all this.
And Kim your posts made me laugh so hard lol. You tell em!
Awwww he's gorgeous!! Well done
What a gorgeous bear, but you already know that I think that hee hee Guess who this bear is coming to live with?
Awww he's gorgeous. Reminds me of my german shepherd actually, which is unusual because my shepherd isn't white lol. It's something about his face. Well done he's a true work of art. I hope to adopt one of your wolves one day, they're just gorgeous, really stunning
That's the worst isn't it?! When you run out of mohair so you know you can't make mistakes, and then you do lol. Everyone makes mistakes but the theory is the more you make bears and the less you repeat the mistakes, the less you will have any mistakes (good in theory hey :D). Good to know everyone has the same problems at one point or another
TinyPixi everyone does that at least once in their bear making time lol, don't worry about it at least you noticed before cutting it out lol
Lol good on you Kim, well done. The Squeaky wheel gets the oil!
I'm glad someone brought this to your attention Kim, I hadn't noticed your bear but I had noticed others since this was mentioned on the guild of master bear crafters, and it scared the heck out of me to be honest. Do they actually mass produce these bears? They can't be anything like the real thing. That's not the point I know but what guts this person/s has to do such a thing. Hopefully together (everyone who's willing to pitch in) we can get them to remove said photos.
